Another beautiful little City of Greenville pocket park. This one is a short walk up East Camperdown from the Falls Park Bridge. It is sponsored by the Greater Greenville Rose Society and in season, the garden is filled with beautiful roses in a variety of colors. As the saying goes- "Stop and smell the roses!"

The Shaw Garden has been a local rose garden open to the public for at least 20 years. The rose beds are maintained by the volunteers of the Greater Greenville Rose Society. There are 10 beds of roses, each with a specific different types of roses which are maintained by a volunteer. We sponsor a Pruning Day (usually the 1st Sat. in March at 9am-12pm) which offers FREE instruction on how to prune roses to anyone interested. The best time to view this garden is near Mother's Day weekend but roses are typically in bloom May 1st to Nov1st (or whenever it freezes).Roses are for the public's enjoyment and are NOT meant to be picked by the public. We will be offering more info on the garden/rose care via handouts available at the garden. The garden is sprayed to resist fungal diseases every two weeks. Please do not enter the garden area while the volunteers are spraying.
