Taking away a star for the prices. The food is great and very tasteful. The price for the small bowl is a bit much. I got the chick bap bowl and loved the teriyaki chicken and siracha mayo. Nice place for a fast lunch.

Clean and inviting dining area at Monarch Market. Staff were friendly and helpful. For a place named after the capital of South Korea, I was expecting better flavors. I went with the most Korean dish they had. I ordered the KatsuBap, which is actually Japanese as mentioned in their business page. I almost enjoyed the katsu (pork) but didnt have enough rice and sauce. I felt like it only had a spoon of scambled eggs. Too much greens in the bowl. If you're eating here, don't expect to eat authentic Korean food. They had korean corndogs and a bulgogi bowl that I might try next time.

This place is inside the Monarch Market and I have really been craving Korean corn dogs so I decided to grab a couple for me and my friends to try. The cashier was super nice and helpful with options. I decided to get a regular mozzarella one and a half and half with potato breading. First of all they look too pretty to eat lol. The cheese pull was immaculate *chefs kiss*. I got it with ketchup and spicy mayo and that spicy mayo was spicy . It added a good flavor and spice to the corn dogs. The breading seem slightly undercooked but overall it was crunchy, crispy , really good texture. I personally liked the half and half with the mozzarella and sausage because it gave it different flavors and layers to it. The potato breading was also better than the regular in my opinion. I would definitely go back for more whenever I'm in the area. I'd give it a 8.6/10

This food stand is in Monarch Market, which is a food hall. On the day we went it was crowded but the food came out in the 4 minutes they promised. I had the Chick Bap with no edits. It was quite good. I didn't expect the glass noodles as part of the deal- they added a nice surprise. They also have some Korean bottled drinks- I had a watermelon soda; super sweet but good.

Tried a K-dog with half cheese traditional panco with saracha ranch. It had a great bite to it. Not too greasy either. It was dropped fresh. It wasn't crispy, but the sauce added a nice acidity.

I always enjoy my meal here. It's yummy, fast and quality ingredients. I like that they make their own sauces in house that you can add to your kdogs, and they come in the kupbap bowls. It's also the only k-dog place I know of in Charlotte that makes their own batter fries them fresh in front of you. My favorite thing is that they have a bunch of Korean drinks to try. And the owners are really nice. The food hall itself is nicely decorated with a lot of plants and comfortable seating.

Ok I let me preface this by saying, I love bulgogi and Korean food in general! I ordered the 2 Bul Bap bowls and a Kdog. But this was not bulgogi, it tasted like reconstituted beef jerky with some kinda sauce on it, I took a single bite from one bowland knew it was not for me, I took it back and explained. Spoke with the manager Duck and was refused any kind of customer service, no refund, no offer to make me something else unless I was willing to make a new purchase. While the kdog was ok the experience left and bad taste in my mouth I will not be back! Essentially spent 45.00 on a ok hot dog. Buyer Beware

Best Kdogs in town. The cheesy one is the one to go for first. If you like cheese sticks or you are a frontage lover you have to try these.

Their K-dogs are a gem! I personally enjoyed the half-and-half with potato cubes. The kup-baps are versatile, great for both lunch and dinner. It's a bowl filled with nutrition. Highly recommend both items! The staff was also very nice and quick, despite the long lines. Monarch provides generous seating indoors and outside where the bar is, making it a great spot for both family and a casual date with your loved ones.
