I came here on a rainy day with 2 small children. This aquarium is the perfect size for kids under 5, but beyond that it may start to feel rather small. There are lots of fun little exhibits with different types of fish, rays, sharks various other sea creatures, and everything is well displayed and easy to see, especially if you're under 4 feet tall. In my opinion, it's a bit expensive, as you can walk through this whole thing in less that 20 min and see everything. However, the next closest aquarium is 1.5+ hours away, so it's definitely better than a long drive to Columbia or Atlanta. Also a pretty impressive "tunnel of love" where you see sharks, eagle rays and all sorts of sea creatures large and small.

Kayla Beth Fields , Saige, Deacon & I went to Charlotte NC to the Sea Life Aquarium at the Concord Mill Mall. We enjoyed the Aquarium and the kids enjoyed the scavenger hunt for the stamps stations to get their free prize at the end. They enjoyed the touch tank with the starfish and seeing the sea horses. The Aquarium was a big hit. The glass tunnel allowing the Sharks and stingrays to swim above and beside them was amazing. Saige really enjoyed the jellyfish. Once you buy your ticket you can re-enter later in the day as well, that is a nice feature!!

This is the first time I've ever seen an aquarium in a mall. I was hoping for a lot more, especially for the price. What they do have is awesome but it's incredibly small.

I wanted my child to have a change of scenery instead of looking at a tablet all day, so I took her to Sea Life at Concord Mills. This is a decent size aquarium for the mall, and it can definitely keep your interest. We arrived, and the line was pretty long for tickets but was checked out, and we began our walk through the facility. Throughout there's portions where you can stamp your programs for your child an you can receive a shark necklace at the end. One of the best parts was walking through the underwater tunnel surrounded by all the sea life of stingrays and sharks. There was plenty of aquatic life to see and learn about. My kid had no interest in what we were seeing but I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and the only thing it's not as big as I personally would like it be but it's definitely good enough for any family.

On our outing at Concord Mills, we stopped here as well.We didn't buy tickets prior to, so we stopped by the front to make sure we could just purchase there and we could. However, their internet was down so we had to scan the QR code and make our purchase there. We bought our tickets and we're scanned in.There is so many fish in here. It was a very short aquarium exhibit, but very nice. There is one part that you will walk through where it looks like you are walking through an aquarium tunnel. The fish are swimming all around you.I went years ago when I used to live in Charlotte, so it was pretty cool to swing by again.

It's very small and in a mall but it's good for little kids. It's also a rehab center which is cool.

Great activity for you & the little ones or by yourself .Went on a Saturday afternoon & it was busy but not too crowded. Price ranges from $20 per child/adult buy you can enter as many times as you like during the day if your stay. While it looks small from the outside, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find a pretty nice size and various exhibits inside. They also offer hands-on experience where the kids get to touch the starfish. There's lots to learn & see with lots of fun for the family

Keep in mind, this aquarium is literally inside of a mall. Don't set your expectations high, unless you are the target audience, which are kids probably 12 and younger, I came here at opening on a weekday morning. No line and I was able to purchase a ticket quickly. A ticket cost $24 which is shocking because a ticket to the zoo is $15. I really can't justify the piece. Anyways, all of the kids I was with had a good time. There are kid tunnels and easy to read facts about the sea creatures on the wall, There is a station which you can touch a star fish. At the end, there is a coloring corner we're kids can hang out. Some sea life I saw were jelly fish, sea horses, small sharks, and a sea turtle. I'll come back when my child is older, and I will come back strictly for her, because as an adult I didn't get much out of this.

I frequent this mall many times but never visited because I had older kids, however even at their age they thoroughly enjoyed it. My sister came into town with my nephew so we decided to visit. Seeing the various sea animals was very cool. Learning about different species and even learning about local sea life. They also have great viewing options for smaller kids. Touching the star fish and urchins was pretty cool. If you're looking for a nice indoor activity this is a great option. Last entry is one hour before closing so be sure to plan accordingly.
