Sea Grill

I love the Sea Grill! Everything about it! I'm tempted to gatekeep on this one, but I'm not going to do y'all like that! And I'm really committed to the longevity of this Resturant. I want them to do well and be here for a very long time. Be sure to make a reservation and take a look at the dress code to make sure you won't have any issues. They seem to really be intentional about the vibes in this place, and I love that for us! Personally, I feel the pricing is very fair for the quality of fresh seafood this place is flying in daily. It is more than good! I am absolutely stuck on the Pasta Alla Ruota! Like I literally can't stop thinking about it! They toss it in a massive Parmigiana Reggiano wheel. The cheese wheel last night was 15 years old! Amazing! Every thing I've eaten from here has been delicious so I'm kind of feeling like you can't go wrong no matter what your personal preferences are. I love love love a whole fish and the Branzino off the Grill here is worth every penny!!! They are now doing daily brunch so I will definitely be making my way back soon to try that out! 10/10 highly recommend!

Wow ! I am speechless! The decor at this establishment is nothing sort of spectacular and out of this world . It's like you stepped into a beautiful luxury underwater oasis . I went here for restaurant week and was wowed by the service that was provided by our waiter Ibrahim. He was so kind , knowledgeable and professional. He gave recommendations on the entire menu. For my drink I ordered the rose martini which was just the right and sweet and tart. My appetizer I ordered the mussels . They were savory and delightful. My entree was the salmon pasta . It was so flavorful with every bite , I've never had a pasta had seasoning in every bite before. Lastly, my dessert I opted for the crème brûlée, it was light and just the right amount of sweetness and crunch . If I could rate this establishment 10 times I would . Worth every single penny ! You will not be disappointed.

I recently dined at Sea Grill, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I ordered the chicken and waffles, and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the waffles were light, fluffy, and paired beautifully with the syrup. It's easily one of the best versions of this dish I've had.The cocktails were another highlight--unique, creative, and expertly crafted. Each drink felt like a little work of art, and they complemented the meal perfectly.The service was top-notch. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. It's clear the staff takes pride in making every guest feel welcome.The atmosphere was inviting and stylish, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal or a special occasion.

Had diner at Sea Grill this past week - the food was excellent. Unfortunately, I was dining alone and some of the dishes are intended for two or more. I think SG would be a good place to dine with two or more people to fully try their menu. The service was super fast, although I was there early in the evening so things had not yet become busy. The ambiance was quite nice & upscale. I'll definitely return to (fully) enjoy what they have to offer.

Had a FANTASTIC time at SeaGrill. From the moment I entered, I was greeted very warmly. Our Server was so attentive and made sure we good throughout the night. Don't get me started on the food!! We ordered the flame sushi for appetizer and did the Lobster Frutti di mare and it was amazing. A great portion of squid ink pasta which paired well with the tomato sauce (nicely spicy) with great sea food options. The entire place was well decorated and music selections had us enjoying every aspect of the dining experience. I will definitely be back to try more dishes!

Sea Grill is a gem of a restaurant, located in Uptown Charlotte! The use of spaces in the restaurant is truly great and it gives you a warm, inviting ambiance and feel while dining!And the food...amazing! So many options to choose from - including seafood, meats, poultry, etc. You can even get surf and turf to satisfy your every desire! Ha! The staff was absolutely phenomenal, as they were beyond attentive to every need and care when dining. The only "ding" that I have for them is that they don't validate parking, because it's not their garage/parking facility. Outside of that, it was an all-around great experience!Can't wait to go back and try more dishes and drinks!

First time here and it was so beautiful looking on the inside. Cute ocean theme decorations. You can do street parking, valet, or park in the parking deck. They have an upstairs and downstairs for dining as well as a bar area. The food was delicious. We got the halibut with mash potatoes and vegetables and a crab sauce. It was so delicious. I love the grilled onions since I'm a bit fan of onions but the other veggies were also delicious. Just wish the portion was a little bigger for the price but makes sense given it's a higher end restaurant. The service was excellent. Staff was nice and server was great. When you go during happy hour on Thursday, the oysters are 50 cent. They have other specials on the other days. Ambience is nice fancy place. Only downside is the side of the window is located in the epicenter so you don't really get a good vibe depending on who's walking by if that makes sense.

I really wanted to love this place after hearing good things but sadly it did not live up to the hype. Perhaps we went on an off night (NYE-prix fixe menu). First the good stuff. The place is gorgeous. Think: nautical glam. Beautiful lighting and color scheme. Minimalist decor and sleek furniture, even if the stand alone chairs were uncomfortable due to lack of back support. There was a DJ spinning that night, and a belly dancer and two Brazilian carnival performers put on a couple shows. Again, we were there on NYE.The staff is truly wonderful. Everyone was engaging, knowledgeable and quick to accommodate. For instance, my companion didn't care for his app, so they made him a different one to take home. Alright, the food. The shrimp salad had good Asian flavor and the Caesar salad was decent, albeit too much parm, but both were WAY overdressed. I'm talking puddles on our plates. We told our waiter and he appreciated the constructive criticism and said they were still working on things as they've only been open 4 months. My crab cake appetizer was very tasty. My companion did not care for the salmon tartare, so they gave him an order of the crab cake app to take home. Apparently they are known for their Branzino. Nice presentation as it's wrapped in a banana leaf and baked in a shell of salt and "revealed" tableside. The flavor delicate but was ok. Texture was light and flaky. However, the skin was not crispy. It's decent; just not really worth returning for. The vegetables accompanying it were nothing special and inconsistently chopped.We both ordered crème brûlée for dessert. One came out before the other. The first had nice flavor but wasn't warm at all. The top was crunchy but I would've preferred a higher temp. The second one was cold as if it had been in the fridge. No bueno. The brûlée was not brûléeing. It was soft and soggy so we just left it on the table. If I do go back, it may be during their brunch but other than that I'm good.

This place has been open for about 4 months. I would encourage you to go now and try the food. The overall experience was amazing! Raven the event manager was wonderful, and Tyler our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and gave us several recommendations. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything was great, and the drinks were also great! I cannot wait to go back. Perfect place for a date night, celebrations, or just looking for a nice place to have a great dining experience 10/10 recommend.

Good Seafood in Charlotte? Hard to come by sadly. Luckily, we've added a new seafood restaurant that's worth going to. Sea grill is in the old epicenter and centrally located in uptown. They fly fresh fish in daily to ensure they have the highest quality. The service was top notch accommodating for my birthday and checking in on the food. The ambiance is different from what I was expecting, but I didn't mind it. The seat I had was extremely comfortable. The appetizers were delicious and my favorite was the octopus. For my entree, I decided to get some sushi. The quality of the fish was noticeable, but it lacked flavor. My friends who joined for dinner got some entrees and they were pleased with the meals. I'll be coming back when I'm looking to get my seafood fix.
