This place use to be awesome. I don't know what happened.Besides the absolutely horrible parking situation there are so many other changes this place has done.I guess inside you can blame the covid problems not getting enough help now and changing the way they have to do business, yet they kept it that way after everything has calmed down and semi back to normal in other places so why are they still upside down??They have gone to having great waitresses waiting on you to now placing your order when you come in, pay ahead of time , sit and they will bring the food to you. I hate doing it this way since I like looking at a menu and having a few minutes to order. Now you feel rushed to just place your order or someone else comes in behind you waiting to order. To me a place that charges before you eat are afraid you won't pay if you don't like it. Just seems like any place I've paid before I ate at is this way.Its a shame to now be handed a small tiny cup with salad dressing. (They were known for their amazing Ranch Dressing! They had big squirt bottles on the table at all times!)Now if you want more, you PAY, can't remember if it was .54 per cup like 2 oz maybe.I know some changes had to be made but you can tell its affected the business you always had to wait for a seat, or may get lucky and someone just left now it seems like you can go anytime they are open and bare tables, a change for sure.I don't like not having a waitress you literally have to wave to get someone's attention.Food is nothing like it was. Before pretty much all home cooked now more like frozen premade or canned. There are many other places. When you have something everyone likes why change it?Don't think we will be going back.Id give one star but 2 because I remember it was good at one time. :((I forgot they also charge for water now)

They are only open Monday to Friday for lunch and dinner and have the same daily specials weekly. My favorite is Tuesday when they have 2 fried chicken breasts (I think it is better than KFC) with your choice of 2 sides plus a roll or cornbread. However, it is hard to go wrong no matter when or what you order, I've never had a bad meal here. Their servers are really good as well. The ambiance is very family friendly. I highly recommend checking them out.My only con is they aren't open on weekends.

Well I did it...I gave Scott's another try...even though the first time was disappointing. This time I stopped for lunch and being a burger fan that's what I ordered...even though the parking lot was empty and there was another couple sitting at another table...I just thought to myself this place used to be so busy and now it's not. Well out comes my burger that I ordered medium rare...took one bite...well and I mean well done...so I took back to the counter and said this is done well...I asked for medium rare...well here comes the attitude...deep breath's and she says to me that's the only way we serve them...then I said then why did you ask me how I wanted it cooked when I ordered it. So she takes it back to the kitchen and orders another burger...SON OF A BITCH...it comes out WELL AGAIN...went back to the counter and asked if she would eat this dried up piece of wood...asked if I could just get my money back...so I guess this will be my last time going there...it's a shame...it used to be really...really good. I don't see how it could go down so rapidly...maybe someone is burnt out...I don't have a clue. Few more places in town to eat that are good.

Scott's serves a lot of old-fashioned favorites. The beef dog in particular is excellent and more like the classic Windy Powell treat than other local restaurants' versions. The baked spaghetti plate with a generous salad and buttered toast is very tasty and fulfilling, Portions are solid. Prices are good. You can dine in or order takeout. The menu is extensive. I'd highly recommend you check out Scott's if you're looking for a good local meal.

This isn't the largest or fanciest place, but their chicken has become a staple in my house at get togethers - my grandparents love their chicken, and rave about it all the time - and they're correct to do so!

Used to be good. The parking is awful. The food seemed over priced to not be very good at all. I will pass from eating here again. The vegetables tasted out of a can at the store. The club sandwich was way to greasy and they add weird things to their food. The salad wasn't even good. I was disappointed. It definitely isn't home country cooking anymore.

I'm not normally very picky when it comes to burger and fries since they are pretty hard to screw up but this place... The burgers were okay and that is the only reason it got two stars instead of one. The chili cheese fries are crinkle cut, frozen fries with stone cold orange cheese and hamburger on top, the cheese fries were the same without the hamburger. There wasn't an option on the website at what temperature to order the burgers and they all came as very over cooked patties. It tastes more like meatloaf than a burger. The pickles on the burgers were very vinegary and soggy so that was not very appealing to us. My "fresh cut fries" were like limp noodles. The prices on the website are not correct either. I was quoted about $47 on the website and upon getting there was informed that my total was $44 dollars even though they didn't have the supposedly $6 mozzarella sticks. Not thinking anything of it I just paid for the food and left but when I looked at the receipt I realized that the fries had been two and a half time the pice they should have been. I am unsure whether this is a technical issue on the website or computer or just a mistake on the waitresses part but it is still an inconvenience. There is nowhere on the site that tells you how long it will take for your food to get done but upon getting there, I was first told that it wasn't done, then told it was done and questioned in a confused manner about wether I would like it brought out or not... After informing them I was there for a curbside pickup...Anyway, not going to eat here again but good luck to you if you do. My mom is just glad she didn't order the flounder like she had planned.
