Saluda Outfitters

What more can you ask for! Good food, good people, and a good time. My family visited once on vacation and then got take out. Both 5 stars. Everyone was friendly and the food was very good.

This was a fun little experience in Saluda, Friendly customer service and a lot of options for food and beverages. Inside the shop there is some great hiking gear and outdoor sportsman type items,great brands. This was very enjoyable and encourage others to visit if you are in Saluda!

We stopped in on Mother's Day, it was just a perfect place to relax and enjoy Mother Nature sitting outside or in. Our bartender was very sweet, mixed drinks and beers were reasonably priced, they have music on Fri/Sat nights. We look forward to returning on a music night.

Unexpected gem! Great food including for us picky vegetarians, maybe a dozen local beers on tap, and co-located in Saluda Outfitters so a little shopping while you're there. Food is ordered at the bar, cooked in a permanent food truck, and delivered to your table. Outdoor seating as well as indoor. Pleasantly surprised by all.

Visited Saluda for the first time last week. Absolutely fell in love with this place! We liked it so much the first night we came back the next 2 nights! Bar tenders Amanda and Ryan were so much fun and seemed like old friends by end of our stay. Really like the live music Alex played as well. Thank you guys, and we can't wait to visit again!

I was up in Saluda camping for the weekend. I noticed this place coming in. When I went to leave I thought I would stop in. Super cool outfitters store. But the gem to me was the bar with local brews and the food trailer outside. Super great service from both with hot good food and a cold beer. Great place. Don't miss it if you are in the area.

Saluda Outfitters is the perfect place to stop for a beer and a bite after a long day of hiking. The atmosphere is casual. The tap beer selection offers plenty of variety with beers/ciders from local breweries featured. The small food truck in the back turns out surprisingly tasty bar food (pretzel bites, chicken tacos, fried pickles have all been good). The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. The store has a nice selection of outdoor gear and clothing (bought 2 t-shirts with their logo, I like this place so much). They host live music events regularly, and there's a lovely outdoor seating area.

Great place with great food and music. Just a great place to hang! You won't be disappointed!

Advice: Do NOT order the pulled pork tacos!!! This is NOT a BBQ destination. I'm going to go as far as saying this is not a restaurant destination. Pork tacos are absolutely awful! It's worth repeating "Terribly awful". The Chicken sandwich was just meh. The fish tacos were meh. On a bright note, the beer & French fries were good. It's a cute place, friendly staff, they sell cool merchandise. If you're dining there... maybe try a hamburger? Good luck!

Food was horrible. It's really gone downhill. Maybe, get the hamburger. Great establishment, but the food is bad. At one time the food was good, but my quesadilla was stale with cheap cheese that had no taste. No condiments with the quesadilla. French Fries we're under cooked. Beer was good and cold!
