Salsarita's chips are the best around. Better than any Mexican restaurant. I can make a meal on one taco with chips and guacamole for around 11dollars. I found the Denver location to be clean with friendly service.

The tacos were okay, but my complaint is that the chicken was burnt. The guacamole was actually quite good, and the chips are my favorite kind: paper thin! You also literally get a large bag of chips if you order people behind the counter were friendly. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back here, but we were driving through the area and wanted something that could be healthy and fast.

Was introduced to Salsarita's in Huntersville a number of years ago and came to love the service and the nice approach to the Fresh Ingredient concept. At that time, worked in Huntersville so this became one of the traditional stops for lunch. Also have dined at the Mooresville location as well as a couple of others in the Charlotte Area. For those not familiar with Salsarita's the correct name is Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill. Similar format as Chipotle with an emphasis on Fresh. Salsarita's was founded in Charlotte in 2000 and acquired by Venture Capitalist in 2011 and currently has 80 locations in 17 states.Moved to Denver NC last July and there was a Salsarita's only a little over a mile from where I live. My wife is not a fan of Mexican Cuisine so she suggested yesterday that since I had expressed an interest in going to Salsarita's and had a couple errands to run, to give it a try. After a number of stops, I got to Salsarita's around 1:00pm near the end of the lunch rush. Most tables on one side or the restaurant were taken, taking into account every other table to comply with Social Distancing. Table at the front by the windows were all vacant.Got in line to place my orders. Not only do they have spaces marked six feet apart, they also have a line you have to stand behind to insure you don't get to close to the serving area. You start out by ordering you platform e.g. Taco, Burrito, Quesadilla etc and your protein e.g. Beef, Pork, Chicken, Shrimp etc. From there you pick out your toppings and sauces which range from very mild to very Hot and Spicy.I choose a Shrimp Quesadilla with onion, green peppers, Hot and Spicy Sauce and believe me it was, along with Cheese. I got an add on of Chips with Guacamole Dip. Did not remember the size of the portions to that became a snack for today.Watched them make in front of me and as they were putting it into the press, paid the cashier and got my drink cup.Found a table and filled my drink cup. For some reason, I went with Barq's Root Beer which I have not had it years.About 5 minutes later, my order was delivered to my table.Very good. The Quesadilla was cut into four large pieces and they did not skim on the Shrimp. Very good, tasteful and very filling and a great value at the same time.Staff was very professional and Courteous. Facility including the restrooms are well maintained and very clean. Will definitely be back and next time will probably try the pork

The price is sky high for what you get. The first time I went people at the counter were rude. I gave them another chance a couple weeks ago and the servers were a friendlier. They did was fine, but overall I was even more shocked by the prices. One burrito was over $10 and does not come with chips and salsa- if you want chips and salsa and a drink it's $5!!! That price is just asinine- and then the cashier has the nerve to ask you for a tip!!! #justgobroke on a small lunch !

I have never written a review before but this experience was so incredibly bad that I had to say something. Be prepared to overpay for a burrito bowl with no meat and the meat that you do get, is absolutely rock solid and impossible to chew. The rice is undercooked and food is cold as soon as they hand it to you. You will pay more than a sit down restaurant for below average cafeteria food.

Of course I have had Salsaritas previously! But I wanted to try the new location in Denver,NC. The food was equally amazing. Just like I remembered from other locations but I will say the staff at this location take pride in what they are serving! There was a line but they gave each person their undivided attention. The line moved quickly and I was able to eat and leave for a quick lunch with 30 mins. The restaurant was clean even with a rush. I enjoyed my lunch and will definitely be back.

I haven't been to a Salsaritas since 2019 so I couldn't tell you if Salsaritas generally went bad or it's just this location. The food is terrible beyond repair. Even school cafeteria food tastes better. The rice was undercooked and tasted like the pre-cooked kind. Black beans had zero flavor like they just came straight out of a can. The tables outside were disgusting with food suck all over and cigarette butts on the floor. Service was quick but then I had to wait to pay for my meal while staff was getting to-go orders ready.

I literally pay for nothing. We bought a burrito bowl that was half of the plate with rice and beans and like 5 pieces of chicken. NOTHING ELSE! I also got a "burrito" full of air and tortilla.
