This place is such a gem, and we're really lucky to have this cozy spot in BMT. From the accessibility, to the service, to the food, and the fair pricing--5/5. We love coming here for a substantial meal and although we've had a little bit of everything from the menu, the sushi paired with fried rice is a can't miss! Keep up the great work!

Sake Sushi offers a delightful dining experience, highlighted by their dog-friendly patio overlooking a charming park. The affordability of their offerings adds to the appeal, making it a more accessible option for sushi lovers. As a connoisseur of sushi, I held high expectations, but unfortunately, the sushi at Sake Sushi fell within the realm of average. The Tokyo roll, filled with spicy tuna, left me yearning for a bolder and fresher taste, as it contained an abundance of filler that overshadowed the quality of the fish. I also found the substitution of imitation crab meat, a cheaper alternative, disappointing, as it failed to deliver the intricate flavors that real crab meat brings to the table. On a brighter note, the matcha sake served as a delightful and harmonious companion to the sushi, with its subtle and earthy undertones enhancing the gastronomic experience. The service at Sake Sushi was commendable, as the staff provided quick and efficient service throughout my meal. Their attentiveness and professionalism added to the overall positive impression.

We hit this spot kinda late on a Sat. night, about 30 min. before close. Service was a bit lacking I think due to that. We never got any drink refills and had to wait for boxes and bill. The space was a little clustered due to cleaning for closing. We enjoyed the crab ragoons the filling was delicious althought they were a bit well done outside. We got hibachi dinners which were good. It came with miso soup which we didn't like but never had it before. The dinners themselves were good but nothing special. It comes with plain rice but you can get brown or fried rice for additional charge.Overall probably not a place we'll hurry back to but easy in and out and good location for us if we want Japanese food.

Tucked into a little strip mall that's tucked into a gorgeous wooded area. When we drove up the patio was full and there were a few folks in the entry. But they had us seated in just a couple minutes. Lots of locals here and lots picking up Takeout so we knew that was a great sign. Service was excellent! We were well taken care of but not bothered. The drinks, appetizers and meals were all really good. Fresh and flavorful. If you're in the area, give this place a shot, you won't be sorry.

My sisters and I came here for dinner on a Saturday evening and we got seated right away. Our waiter was friendly and was happy to answer my questions about the menu. I know that sushi can take a while to come out, but our food came out really quick which was a pleasant surprise. We got edamame as an appetizer which was fresh, crunchy, and delicious. For sushi I got the Hawaiian roll which was also really good. The combination of sauces was delicious and the fish was fresh. I enjoyed eating here and would love to come back and try their other rolls!

One of a dozen sushi restaurants in Asheville area. But the only one we go to every month. Sushi chef Aoki is a master at his craft.

I liked it! This what I think of as a solid small city sushi spot. Fresh fish and all the standards. There was a 20min wait on the Sat night we showed up. The folks are all really nice.

Stopped for a quick lunch - Served daily from 1100 to 1500 (Except weekends) Tip: Closed on Tuesdays and their hours are from 1100 to 2130 and the weekdays are not as busy as the weekends and service is much quicker and less crowded than the weekends and you'll hav a choice of seating with less noise than on the weekdays.Weekday Lunch Specials include a Bento Box or Sushi or Sashimi Lunch Specials are served from 1100 to 1500Their lunch special bento boxes include a spring roll, three (3) pieces of a California roll, and a choice of either miso soup or salad and selection of tempura, teriyaki, and Katsura. Their sashimi and sushi lunch specials include either a five (5) piece sushi or twelve (12) piece of Sashimi Lunch Special of the chefs assortment and choice that is served with a bowl of rice. Their two (2) or three (3) roll lunch specials comes with a choice of miso soup or salad with a ginger dressing and a choice from their traditional and various sashimi grade seafoods or vegetarian option rolls Or you can order off of their à la carte menu of that is the same on the weekends of a choice of sushi or sashimi rolls. (See photos of their lunch special and a la cart menus) Decided to have three (3) different spicy rolls in their three (3) roll lunch special today. Had a spicy, tune, spicy salmon and a spicy crab roll to see if I could distantly tell the differences in the sashimi grade seafoods and I could. The tuna and salmon were very fresh finely chopped pieces with hot chill sauce and the crab was very tasty as well All three (3) sushi's were "Delish" and I highly recommend and will be back to Sake Sushi located on Market Street in the Cheshire Village Center off of HWY 9 heading towards Bat Cave in Black Mountain, NC

I ordered veggie and tofu stirfry soba noodles for pick up. I was disappointed and hungry when I tasted them. They had so much "soy sauce" on them it overwhelmed the noodles. I don't like bland food, but I also don't like food that is overly salty and that's all you taste. If I had been eating at the restaurant, I would have given the dish back to the kitchen and ordered something else. I ended up throwing them out and drinking lots of water the rest of the evening.

I can't say enough great things about this place. The food was delicious and the service was so wonderful. Between all of us we tried the ramen, teriyaki, dinner bento boxes and udon noodles and everyone loved their meal. I thought we might be underdressed but they were warm and welcoming. I loved how fast the food came but quality was excellent. We are from out of town or this would be a definite repeat.
