Sabor Latin Street Grill - Steele Creek

I had not been to this location but needed something quick after a day of training. Quick, simple online ordering with custom options. I would actually dine in here. Very cute, casual spot where you could come in as you are.I got a custom bowl with al pastor, cheese, black beans, and brown rice/quinoa mix. The portion was good, a little bit bigger than I expected. I may try something different next time because the al pastor needed some doctoring up. I just need a little more kick. Overall a good value and quick service.

Not sure how I forgot about this place especially how close it is. But not only is it good, you can't beat the price. Especially on Tuesdays when they have $1 tacos. Place was clean and the wait time wasn't bad at all. My only recommendation is if you try the nachos, try with shredded chicken. I've tried both and when you go with the seasoned one that's more in chunks, it just seems like you have a plate of chips and beans w/cheese and barely any meat.

Note: this review is only relevant to takeout. Definitely one of the better burritos I've had. The grilled chicken and the red rice complement each other exceptionally well. The burrito also transports well for at least 10 minutes.My only complaint is that it wasn't much for a $12 burrito, and that is just the burrito. No sides.

Stopped in for Taco Tuesday. This was my first time at this location. I really wanted the chili cheese Yucca Fries and decided to get some authenticos tacos also. I went with the Salvador Fries with ground beef instead of chicken and 8 Authenticos chicken tacos (4 beef and 4 shredded chicken). The Yucca fries were good. I should of had queso added to them but the rosado sauce did it thang and was so tasty. I think the Yucca fries are going to be my standard order from now on. I will probably go with chicken or steak next time. It's been awhile since I've been to any Sabor and I was surprised but not totally surprised that the tacos on taco Tuesday have gone up about 50 cents in price. That's to be expected during Covid so I didn't fret they are still just 1.49 each. However the tacos had no taste. My niece even stated the tacos didn't taste like anything. The meat was super bland and even with salsa it wasn't any better. The chicken was better than the beef. In all honesty the beef looked like mystery meat. All in all I wasn't impressed with this location. Don't know if this was just an off day or this is the new standard. I will visit again and update accordingly. First time here and I was super impressed. Their food is really good and it has a food truck style of offerings. There's Mexican corn and several other items that aren't found in your typical Mexican restaurant. We had the quesadilla, kids taco and burrito. Each has choice of protein and tofu is an option. Everyone absolutely loved their food and it was very generous portion sizes. There's also a salsa bar. We sampled a few of them and the fan favorite went to the pineapple habanero. It's on the spicy side but it was very good! For a quick bite that's delicious I highly recommend Sabor!!

Great customer service and delicious food. I had their shredded chicken tacos. The shredded chicken is cooked with some very good spices. Adding the Chile de Arbol with some lime brought the flavors over the top. Will be back to try other dishes.

LOVE the daily specials... 3-Amigos Burritos, Tacos... This is a place for decent Latin inspired food crafted for the American crowd. The empanadas are LARGE, like physically large, which makes them a meal in themselves, and low-cost too. Flavor-wise... I have visited 3 locations so far, and they all appear to be consistent, NOT bad... just a regular performer always showing up and delivering. Service at the Steele Creek location was good, they got my order out and had my to-go items waiting for me all packaged up very nicely with the receipt attached to prevent any mix-ups.I MUST give a shout-out to the CHURROS... i am a sucker for those sweet fried sticks of heaven. They offer a classic/plain and a filled.... I go classic and have NOT been disappointed. If I had to choose between "the bell" and Sabor... it would be SABOR all the way.But if i wanted a more authentic sit-down style mexican or latin restaurant, there are plenty of options out there.

This used to be my favorite fast casual for Mexican but they've gone down hill. Taco salad was so skimpy, shrimp are noticeably smaller. Disappointed and still hungry

Just freaking fresh! From the Sabor Margarita (made from fresh limes not that horrible mix stuff) to the Elote Loco Street Corn (Oh Dear Lawd) and the Chips for the best Queso Ever(order the large for free chip refills) Not to mention they have Mexican Coke in the bottle to wash down the giant Burrito and the Chicken Quesadilla. Was fun to try several of the salsas from the bar and lots of different things on the menu. - Spot was super clean including the bathroom (which can be a deal breaker for me) Staff was helpful and kind all still masking up -even told us about their catering options which my husband is going to use this week. Needless to say after all that food a nap was in order- worth ever bite and can't wait to go back or hit up another location. So go and thank me later

I'm convinced that everyone is lying. My boyfriend and I ordered takeout yesterday. We live 5 minutes down the street from this location so we picked up the food almost immediately when it was ready. This was the blandest food I've eaten in awhile. How do you make Mexican food bland? The birria tacos were super salty. The American tacos had no taste whatsoever. We ordered 2 shrimp, 1 fish, 2 pork belly, 1 steak, and 1 Al pastor. Additionally we had guacamole, a side of queso, and street corn. The corn was so weak. Absolutely no flavor! It was wrapped in a foil and I felt like they skimped me on the dressings of the street corn. There was hardly anything on it. That was such bad experience. I don't do reviews but the food was so bland I woke pissed we spent 50 bucks on such bland food
