Sabor Latin Street Grill - Ballantyne

Truly love this branch of Sabor ! Best one of all the venues . The servers are accommodating and pleasant . The food has been great quality and also fresh and hot . Extras that you add are a good price and not skimpy. The Empanadas are really one of out favorites and the Carne Asada Fries make my mouth water just thinking about them !

I love Sabor burritos! The build your own burrito has a great list of ingredient add ins, so I usually load it up and get everything but pineapple in it. The arepas are delicious as well and we really enjoyed the barbacoa arepa this visit. The salsa bar is delicious, fresh, and great for variety girlies like myself. They have lots of locations throughout the Charlotte area.I docked a star from this location because of the extremely poor customer service. I wish I had gotten the young man's name that took our order, because he was just about as dry as the Christmas turkey on National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. He was extremely unfriendly and acted like he wanted to be anywhere but there. The lack of customer service is really sad these days.

It's bright colorful. The food is always solid.My favorite is the arepas tradicional trade out the chicken for the shrimp. Whatever the seasoning on the chips is has me addicted - there's never enough for me. Today I chose to do the 3 amigos burrito. It's the one thing on the menu I don't recommend. It's pretty plain. Go for the Sabor version instead. Service is pretty consistent. Food prices are reasonable less than or equal12 per person.

One of my favorite Latin Street Food Restaurant around Ballantyne. My favorite is Chimi Shrimp Tacos and Carne Asada with Fries. The service is great and prompt, and I love their very Latin Ambiance. My favorite day to go is Taco Tuesdays and get my tacos specials.

We ordered takeout through GrubHub. While we weren't expecting anything major as it's takeout the reviews were very positive so we were hopeful. For starters we ordered a few items off the menu in order to try everything. We started with a barbacoa empanada and a chicken empanada. They were both amazing and delicious, personally I preferred the barbacoa as it had more spice than the chicken one but that's to be expected. We also ordered an Arepa which was amazingly stuffed with chicken, cheese and other goodies. We also tried the yuca fries which were also a surprise and very delicious.We also tried the sugar cinnamon empanada for desert. It comes with a guava and pineapple stuffed in it. Very very good. I highly recommend this place and it will not be the last time we order from here. The takeout presentation was also amazing. Everything was packaged and taped individually which is great to have when ordering multiple items.

Place is aight so far. I am not sure how "authentic" they are or aren't. But the churros are a good deal here. I give it a 3.5 stars.

Usually good, but portions have shrunk by a lot. This was $8 for 2 tacos plus $2 tip. Chicken came straight out of the fridge. Each taco was 2 bites. There was nobody in the restaurant, I wonder why...I'm guessing this place will close by summer

This has happened to me a couple of times at this particular location where they just forget ingredients or this not made right. Quality is good but the preparation needs some kind of training. The other locations I am more fond of. It is not like they are busy when I come in so don't understand. Barely put anything on it and at least they could have filled it up with lettuce. I had two separate orders and they won't even label them as it is going to different people.
