S & I Ice Cream

During the summer this ice cream shop has customers lined up to the end of the road from their window!. On weekends and holidays they have more employees to help the wait not be as long. I would wait again with a group of people after visiting this time. The ice cream is worth it for us. It is an older style ice cream shop as it has been here many years. You place your order and then wait at the other window to take your ice cream to go. The service has really changed. All of the girls behind the window were very nice to my family. They gave them napkins and complimented us. There is plenty of soft serve flavors to try. A couple picnic tables to sit at. Yogurt and Sunday options too. Below pictured are small cones we ordered!

I stopped in this evening and ordered a black cherry milkshake. While I was waited on promptly, the milkshake was more milk than anything else. I'm sure there are better options in the area.

This is an old style ice cream shop where you walk up to the opening and place your order. They sell soft serve and some hard ice cream. The tornados and twisters are my favorite because you can put any topping in the ice cream then they blend it. One is made with ice cream and the other is made with frozen yogurt. I buy a pup cup for my dog. Whipped cream with peanut butter topping seems to be the hit. This visit was much better than the last. They must have new staff. There are a few picnic tables to sit and eat. Most people don't stay. It's usually crowded so come prepared to wait a few minutes. It's worth it. I have never been disappointed yet. It's unfortunate the prices continue to go up but I get it. They have to survive like the rest of the businesses. Enjoy!

I have passed this place many many times, and there is always a long line. But today on this hot August afternoon I stopped in because the line was only "two" persons deep. My sister told me that they had really good ice cream, which is why I paid $9.50 for just two small soft serves with one topping. The ice cream tasted like [any] other soft serve. There was nothing significant about it at all. Whipped cream is extra, each topping is extra and you have to ask nicely for napkins. "The chocolate swirl machine is broken!" Proclaimed a large, poorly written sign. There are more handwritten signs that warn the customers "once something is passed through the window, there is NO EXCHANGE." There is no actual menu, per say, rather signs tacked all about. There is no specific appeal or niche to this place. And I wonder why the lines are so long! And there is a tip bucket.... To my genuine surprise, it overflowed. It's a drive up sort of deal. There is a single shaded park bench on one side of this place. The servers didn't wear masks, but they did have on plastic gloves. In the future I'd choose Papa Robs, Sweet Frog, Sonic even QT or any place with a soft serve machine, really. Two and a half to Three stars, but overall not terrible.

Not bad but not exceptionally good a 3 out of 5. Soft serve ice cream with exactly what you would expect - chocolate syrup, strawberry and pineapple.

I was there on a weekend. A young Asian girl who appeared to be new asked her manager how to make a s'mores blizzard. I was standing in line three rows back. The manager yelled at her if she was an American she'd know because all Americans know what a s'mores is. The young girl was obviously embarrassed. The same girl gave me the the wrong ice cream but I didn't say anything g as I could tell she already felt bad. The manager came over and made a big deal that she was new and didn't know what she was doing. The manager yelled at another employee about the cones...I will never go back

This place has been on the same corner for many years. During the summer there always seems to be a line of waiting patrons. People keep coming back so they must be doing something right. They sell soft serve ice cream, hand-dipped ice cream, snow cones, sundaes, banana splits, milk shakes, and all of the normal array of ice cream creations. Today I got a scoop of honey roasted peanut butter ice cream. It was as amazing as it sound. The prices are very reasonable. They even have picnic tables for you to enjoy your refreshments right there!

Amazing place! Wonderful, fun girls. They love to talk and have fun and joke around with their customers! Would %1000 recommend this place. They are open all year around except major holidays.

Please be more consistent with your servings. Most of the time if I get a small cone, it is huge. Others times, very small. I would get a medium sometimes if I know what size it's going to be.

Don't go with a group after dinner. The young female staff members were so rude and did not want our business. Instead of communicating that they just called the cops on us.
