Burger with cheddar and perfect French fries. It takes a lot for him to comment on a burger and he loved this one
Grain (farro) salad with roasted vegetables and normally also has rotisserie chicken. SO GOOD!
I loved the rustic aqua tiles

We didn't realize the restaurant only recently opened when we stopped in for lunch today. It was nearly 70 degrees out, so we took our pup with us for lunch and decided on Roosters. At one point, one of the managers stopped by and said that we were their first outdoor diners. LOL it was only later that I realized they had only recently opened.Everyone was very friendly and made us feel welcome even though we were the only table outside. I ordered the grain bowl and a sparkling water and my husband went with the burger and fries. The food was taking longer than expected and normally I wouldn't have said anything but the temperature was starting to drop unexpectedly and we were getting hit by some random rain drops blowing in. Our server (I think bartender) was great and brought me a refill and let us know that the food should be right out and was delayed because of a couple 10 top tables that had ordered before us. No problem, it's the holidays and people are getting together. The food came out and it was well worth the wait! The burger was cooked exactly how my husband likes it and had requested (medium well) and the fries were crispy perfection. My grain bowl was DELICIOUS!! 10/10 it was so good that I didn't even realize until I was shoveling the last few bites in, that it was missing the chicken I asked the waitress if it was supposed to have it in it and she assured me it was supposed to and just an oversight. They were very nice and went over and above with an apology. I will absolutely order that again and look forward to trying it with chicken. If it weren't for the comment about us being their first outdoor guests, I would never have guessed they just opened. We had great food and service and look forward to stopping in again soon.Notes: there were 2 gas fire pits on the patio with maybe seating for 4 around it but that was the only outdoor heating that we saw. I'm not sure if that is something that is still in the works but throwing it out there. If I'd have realized they just opened I would've taken far more pictures than I did.

The food at Roosters is excellent. Party of 7 enjoyed their entree. Brussel sprouts are really really good. Service was good but nothing outstanding. The trend for restaurants with a warehouse environment with high ceilings is something I do not understand other than there is the initial cool factor when one walks in. Could not hear conversations even from people across the table from me. We were yelling to be heard. And this was on a Monday evening & the restaurant was not full. I appreciate all that Jim does for Charlotte but I will not dine here again

Overall, food was good and pricing was market value for the area & times that we are in. My only issue is that we ordered dessert to go, for 14 dollars. We did not receive a $14 slice of pumpkin pie. We received a small and thin slice of flavorless pie that is not worth the money - the value was not there. If you are going to charge me for a $14 dessert, then I am expecting something more fulfilling than a slice that looks like came from the local grocery store.

The food was amazing, atmosphere very classy yet welcoming to my little country family. We had a small incident and the staff quickly acted in a kind and helpful way to provide peace of mind. Holly, our waitress, was amazing and kind.

Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan for Jim Nobles restaurant, but this one was a total disappointment! I know they were delayed opening and based on my experience, they are not ready to be open now. We had a party of 4 last night. The restaurant was packed (which will change if everyone has the type of experience that we had there). For starters, it took about 10+ minutes for a server to come to our table to take drink orders. One of our party ordered the Pino and they were out of it. (Strike 1...on a Wednesday night??) Reordered another red, they were out of that too. (Strike 2). I ordered the pork loin entree. It was close to uneatable. (HUGE Strike 3) It was significantly undercooked (what chef sends pork out undercooked??). It was very tough, with a lot of fat. Yes, I should should have sent it back, but with a table of 4, you don't want to be be that guy. I also order their potatoes au gratin, only to be told they were out of those too. (Strike 4). The whole grain bread that is usually very good, was ice cold...like it had been frozen (Strike 5). I certainly hope that they can "right the ship" but it will be a very long time before, I go back there to give it 1 last try.As far as the service, it was marginal. The ambiance was a C+ for a crazy busy large restaurant, and for "the value" I would rate this location a C- to D.
