Understanding the location is relatively new, the food simply did not meet expectations (no where close to Rooster's South Park), especially when considering the pricing. Port tenderloin, Brussel sprouts and wings all came out luke warm (that's being kind...it was actually cold). Our server, Kacie (who was terrific by the way) mentioned this was not the first issue she had experienced with cold food on the day of our visit.Asked to see a manager, who did remove the tenderloin and wings from our bill (8 wings for $20...not a typo), but she tended to defend the kitchen when doing so. When we sent the food back, the food runner that brought the food back to us asked "were you the table that asked for a reheat". Needless to say, we were stunned by that comment, but even more troubled by the fact that the food was literally "reheated" and put back on the same plate. No new setting, same accompaniments that were on the plate before, including the piece of tenderloin that I took a bite of that allowed me to determine it was cold! While we appreciate the fact the items were removed from the bill, it just was not what we had experienced at Rooster's South Park, nor something we expected from a restaurant charging the prices they choose to charge. For the record, we were ok with the prices, but certainly expected the quality to meet the expectations of the prices. Never say never, but not sure we'll be back to this location.

I waited until our 2nd visit which was only a week after our 1st to review.Our lunch server was fantastic. She provided recommendations and told us that because the pizza station was on the other side of the kitchen, it may come out before or after the others entrees. Dinner server was okay. I mentioned I wanted my salmon medium. It was dimly lit so I didn't realize it was actually more raw the closer to the center I ate until it was just raw. She asked if I wanted to box it up. When I mentioned I didn't because it was raw, she said she forgot to tell me to get it medium well because the kitchen was still figuring out temperatures. Lunch - chicken pizza. I don't know what herb or spice is on it but it was less than appetizing. It tasted like an overdose of cumin. It's large enough to share between 3 women. I suggest a bbq pizza w/a bbq base and role the bbq chicken in it.The fries at lunch left a lot to be desired. In some cases, it was not totally fried. Double dunk'em.Onion rings are like Noble Smoke. Those are to die for. I could eat those all day. It's a new location so there are some kinks to work out like shades on the top windows - multiple tables wore their sunglasses the whole time, my dining companion could not find a spot at one point that wasn't blinding her. The layout I feel bad for their servers it's not the easiest to navigate and lots of sharp angles for patrons to walk to the restroom and collide with wait staff.During the day, blinding and at night very dim so I couldn't tell how my fish was cooked. There must be a happy medium.After it works out some of the kinks, Roosters will be a welcome addition to the Bowl.

We had some issues but the manager, Joey, took care of it. Great service and felt appreciated! Hubby ordered a bottle of wine at the bar, which we brought to the table but after a few sips we didn't care for it. Then when we sat down at the table they gave us a different wine menu with a bigger selection (why don't they just have one wine menu for the bar and resturant?) Hubs talked to Joey- they credited the other bottle and we bought a different one, which was very good. We order the pate (very good) and enough for 4 of us to have some. The Brussels sprouts and calamari were very good. The roasted cauliflower was good too. Hubs had the hamburger and said it was the best one he has had - and he's picky - so kudos to Roosters for that! The ambience is nice and upbeat. It was a good night.

Great addition to the Ballantyne Bowl for an upscale dining experience. The place is huge and beautiful with a fun vibe. Service is great and food is good. We enjoyed a mix of apps and entrees. Upside is that everything is unique with a nice flavor profile- not over seasoned. Downside is everything arrived lukewarm. Agree with many of the reviews on yelp. And it's a bit on the pricey side for sure $100pp or so for food,drinks ++. I'd still come back - drinks are solid!

RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED & FOOD SUCKED!! A steak ordered medium rare at like $55 with side order of onion rings ($10). Tiny piece of steak, inedible -- it was mostly raw!! Onion rings deep fried and not drained. That was spouse's meal (he recooked it upon arriving home). I ordered a simple pizza with some veggies. Arrived barely room temp, SOGGY EVERYTHING -- TRIED TO FIX IT AT HOME IN HOT OVEN. . .IRREPRABLE $25 or more? SKIP 'EM, SAVE YOURSELF!!

The food, ambience and service at Rooster's was great. Nick our server was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive and was very engaging. Brittany at the bar was also very good and the atmosphere in general was very inviting and didn't feel rushed even though they were busy. Food prep and presentation was excellent. I would definitely recommend you try it out!

The restaurant just opened and the ambiance is casual yet romantic. This is a really good space for families with lots of room. I noticed there was chef's table seating and a full service bar as well. We enjoyed the service over all but they were busy so it was taking longer for us to get our drinks and appetizers. The food highlights were the Brussels sprouts and the scallops both loaded with flavor and their take on a French 75 was tasty with a kick! Definitely check this place out!

I came in here recently with some friends who live in the area. I am a huge fan of the Uptown location so I was excited to see how this one compared. The first thing I noticed was that the area was quite large. We went on a bright sunny day and the large glass windows from floor to ceiling made the place feel vibrant and energized. It was a busy lunch crowd and at times the staff seemed to be struggling, but they held it together and battled through it, so I have no complaints about the service! I got the duck confit panini which came with a lovely blackberry vinaigrette which paired nicely. The duck was cooked perfectly and it was all in all a wonderful sandwich. If I had to choose I'd probably choose the uptown location just because it has a bit more of an intimate vibe, but I can't hold that against this location, their food and service holds up with the original and is a wonderful representation of the brand. Those who live in Ballentyne are ecstatic to see the restaurant scene really taking off and this is a great example.
