Romano's Pizza Italian Restaurant

Last night I ordered delivery through DoorDash and ordered the Cheese Tortellini with Alfredo sauce. This morning I am now sick with food poisoning. Don't eat here!

We've recently purchased a large catering order and visited the restaurant for lunch. I immediately noticed how clean and organized things are in the restaurant/dining area. Benito's customer service has been over the top. The food was fresh and fantastic. we had some accommodations to our order, and they handled all our requests with grace and ease. We look forward to going back and trying something else on the menu.

Friendly staff and great food. The owner prepared us carbonara pasta even though it wasn't on the menu. The restaurant will accommodate to your likings if possible. Highly recommended and affordable prices. Oh, the cannoli is amazing!!!

I was in the area this week and stopped in for lunch. I ordered two slices of pizza at the counter: a pepperoni and a meat lovers at the counter. I was disappointed when I got to a booth because the table was sticky and the other tables next to me weren't much better. They weren't busy: my pizza slices came out fairly quickly. The pepperoni slice was ok and the meat lovers slice was blah at best. The meat lovers slice did not taste fresh, instead tasted re-heated and the dough a little stale...I've come to this pizza place sporadically for over the past 15 years. This place used to be one of my favorite pizza places but sadly after my last visit, has fallen off of that list.

Me and a friend of mine went to Romano's for lunch today. We shared a Classic pizza and each of us had a salad. A dinner salad and a pasta salad. The pizza was good but the toppings were unevenly placed on the top. Half of the pizza was completely different from the other pieces. Half the pizza had bell peppers-the other half didn't have peppers. One half of the pizza had sausage, half of the pizza didn't have sausage. Both salads were excellent. They were fresh and crisp and had lovely toppings. The restaurant was clean in the seating area but the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. The room smelled of sewage and there was urine in an unflushed toilet and on the wall.

My favorite Italian spot! I love the pasta, pizza, and wings. The staff is really nice as well.

SO disappointed. Ordered half cheese and half veggie pizza. The veggies....peppers and mushrooms to be specific....we're not fresh and from a jar. They were mushy and had that vinegar taste. That's either the new way of screwing the customer or too lazy to prep fresh veggies. I've wasted calories and money. Also the bottom was burnt as well. But the man at checkout was very nice

We have eaten at Romanos for many years. Benito is the new owner and he is doing an excellent job providing a clean, fresh environment with delicious pizza, pasta, and homemade bread! Stop in to eat there or order takeout - you will love it!

Sad to see how far this place has fallen when it used to be one of the best pizza places in Concord. Now I find myself sitting here alone at 1:30 on a Friday afternoon because the once popular restaurant is desolate. The pizza is still good, but not great. The owner is still sitting in a back booth surrounded by boxes and the booths could stand a cleaning. Not sure what will save this place. But in their heyday, Romano's was great. So it's sad to see people let it go so badly. All these photos taken at 1:30-2 on a Friday afternoon when the place used to be packed. I even got up and got my own box and the guy never looked up from his program he was watching on his laptop. Sanitation Grade 94

We use to love this pizza and restaurant in general. However, this place is struggling to stay alive and it most definitely shows. Workers are great, pizza maker is outstanding. But this dude who seems to be their most of the time has an office set up in the back booth, and, has chairs in the other booths around him. And, in between , Pizza boxes lined up to the ceiling. Looks really badly for a restaurant. Think this place is on the way out. Besides all that, my "use to be fav pizza" is not that great anymore. The sauce they use has now changed and really taste horrible. Having eaten there just a few days ago was prob our last time. And, the manicotti is now three little rolled up noodles. Horrible. Don't know how they are keeping the doors open.
