Ok, I was here for a music festival so we stopped in for a quick bite before the headliner. We were about the only ones in the restaurant and it was about an hour before the dinner hour. Food reminded me on the same par as a waffle house. . The southwest chicken salad appeared to be precooked, processed chicken. Very dry and no real flavor. If you must, go in with no expectations.

First time eating here,, in the center of the Equestrian Center. (They do close at 3pm on Mondays)Have to say I was a bit hesitant after reading the reviews. The waitress we had was very nice, she was on top of coffee refills and anything we needed.I ordered French toast, it was a good size order, I couldn't eat it all. It was not bad at all. The egg breakfast was Rogers Breakfast it was called was good as well. The decor made you have the old 50's feel. They weren't too busy when we went but they did say it gets busier on the weekends. The lunch & Dinner menu starts at 11am and I looked at the menu, everything sounded pretty good.As much as I like coffee I have to say the coffee here was pretty good.We would definitely recommend for breakfast.I will update if we have lunch or Dinner here,.we will go back for sure!Try for yourself because it was much better than the bad reviews.

We had occasion to eat here a couple of times while visiting the equestrian center. Breakfast was priced well, service was generally OK and the food was hot and as expected. The first day they forgot one order of bacon and the coffee was not very hot. The second day it was a better breakfast. You do have to ask for just about everything. The staff is not the best at anticipating table needs based on order. The lunch we had, crispy chicken wraps, was very tasty and the unsweet tea was cold!

This place is always hoppin'! They have a pretty regular breakfast crowd and can become very busy at lunch. If you are planning to dine here during a Saturday Night Lights event, arrive early and be aware that there will likely be a wait. Don't forget to get a milkshake! Coffee ice cream with Oreos, whipped cream and a cherry is my all time fave. My fave entrees are the meatloaf and fried chicken, though they make a mean burger too! Yum!

Second bad morning in a row. Yesterday undercooked homefries and left the ham out of my omelet. Today ordered eggs over medium for my huevos rancheros and they came out hard boiled and missed my order of hash browns. Also didn't get offered a refill on my empty coffee cup until we were ready to leave. Wait staff all stands at the counter and chit chats amongst themselves. There is very little level of customer service here.

For a restaurant that is in the heart of the equestrian center, with such history and about to be featured in the world equestrian games, I felt very disappointed. I ordered the fried chicken meal with mac-and-cheese, collard greens, and fries. The entire meal felt like it was removed from a freezer box and served to us out of the microwave. The chicken was smaller than my palm, dry, and had no flavor in the skin. Mac-and-cheese actually made my plate and chicken breast soaking wet (I'm not sure why it was so runny). The collard greens had more onion in them than actual greens and no flavor whatsoever. My girlfriend had the chicken tenders and a said of fries. She ate three fries and a half of a chicken tender before we decided not to finish our food. The service is great and the people are wonderful. The food is just a disappointment.

There are only three stars on the Yelp app for this restaurant. Never mind it's completely full all the time! Yes, the food is diner food but it's really good and the service is wonderful. Located at the equestrian center. It is visited by horse people and non-horse people all the time. One of the few restaurants open for breakfast. Definitely a place to go.!

Incidentally found this place so we tried it out. It is a little hidden in the middle of the equestrian area, across from the general store. It was very good. Burgers were hot and service was pretty good. Kids meals are good sized, plenty food with burger and chips. Would recommend!!
