River Hills Country Club

I had the seared tuna with a salad and ginger dressing. The tuna was good-seared nicely with a black pepper and sesame coating, ginger dressing is made in house-nice flavor, good portion. The homemade rolls that are complimentary were very good! Positive stuff:The staff is great-- they work hard to make sure your experience is good. Food is good- they have rotating menu. Negative stuff:Well, nothing really negative but just for info--they are renovating the main dining hall so they using the golfing bar area, outdoor seating, and tent if weather is bad Extra info:It is a private club so you must be or know a member.

Went here for Sunday brunch. It was very good. I got the waffle which was amazing. The service was kind of slow but it was okay. We got beignets and coconut cream pie for dessert. They were both very good. I recommend but you have to be a member or go with a member.

Thinking of buying a home in this area so stopped to visit the gold club. Very nice and met some really friendly home owners. Now to jut find a home lol

My boss is a member and we were on our way to a show in Clover on Saturday night and decided to have dinner at the club beforehand. Start to finish it was a great experience. While the dining area wasn't crowded when we got there the bar was bustling and the dining room slowly started filling up. Our server, Ci was very attentive and personable throughout the evening. When asked for recommendations or descriptions of something on the menu he was able to nicely articulate the details we needed to make a sound decision. Impressive because he seemed pretty young but he was very good at keeping us satisfied throughout the evening.The food was amazing. They had a few specials and I was impressed to see that they were bringing in fresh fish from the Saltwater Market in Clover. This evening there was a Butterfish, Salmon, and a Sand Bass that all sounded great. I ordered the Butterfish which was served with a nice sauce and potatoes along with fresh vegetables. Not sure who the Chef is, but he knows his craft well. The Butterfish was cooked to perfection and it was brought together with the most amazing broccoli, yes the broccoli was perfect cooked with garlic, and parmesan cheese that knocked my socks off. The dish was good but I kept talking about the broccoli who does that?Anyway. Everyone else's fish was wonderful even the little known Sand Bass I heard was nicely done. 2 others ordered the steak and everyone was happy. They have a fantastic dessert menu here at River Hills. We ordered the banana pudding which was a nice remember of my dear old Grandma's with the Nilla Wafers crushed throughout the dish. A bit sweet but hey, it's dessert. They had Key Lime Pie, and a nice well rounded selection of desserts to finish off the evening.All in all River Hills has a good thing going here. Unfortunately I don't think you can just stop in and need to be with a member but if you have the chance to go, I'd highly recommend it.

Had The cheeseburger sliders for the first time last night. They were absolutely amazing. The food is almost always spectacular and the service is usually very good as well. They go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and it home.

The event coordinator Meghan was fantastic!! She helped us plan our big day from California and everything turned out better than anticipated! She gave us endless options and made sure we received the exact appetizers, meal and bar service we wanted. She was present for both the rehearsal and the entire ceremony and reception to make sure everything went just as I wanted! The staff went above and beyond making sure my new husband, myself and all of our guest were happy, plates were cleared promptly and pleasantly! I would highly recommend this beautiful club to anyone and everyone!

On Saturday July 25th 2015 I was the Dj at the Suzanna Singh / Wallen wedding at River Hills Country Club One Country Club Dr. in Lake Wylie, South Carolina. I was instructed by the River Hills Event Director Desta Hudgens to store my things in a back store room. I performed the wedding and it was great, I was complemented on my DJ services several times by the River Hills Staff. When it was time to leave I was packing my equipment, I went into the back storage room, which is only accessible by River Hills Country club staff and my Louis Vuitton Duffel bag was gone, this bag was seen by all staff present including Food and beverage manager Kristina Sherman and Event Director Desta Hudgens. This Duffel bag was stolen by River Hills Country Club staff, on River hills country club property where River Hills country club staff told me to store my belongings. This Bag contained my change of clothes, my medication, a couple extra ties, a cell phone case and the back of my cell phone. An indecent report was filed with the River hills Private Police force and with the york county sheriffs office. On Sunday July 26 River hills country club General Manager Paul Notine called me from his personal cell phone and left a message saying; he would call me Monday and would be filing a claim with his insurance company. After 6pm Monday when i had not heard from Paul, I contacted him leaving a message, he returned my call with in 30 min. basically saying sorry but we will not be filing a claim and good luck. The Guest and Members of River Hills Country club need to know they are not safe, your personal belongings may be stolen by the staff at the country club and they club wont do anything about it. If you are not a member and are attending an event be careful, if you have something nice it may be stolen. As a DJ and Wedding Vendor DJ Krazy T has NEVER experienced anything like this and will not be returning to River hills country Club.DJ Krazy T

RIVERHILLS COUNTRY CLUB: I would never recommend this club to any tennis player. They are the most expensive club in the area. The management is condescending and they have no respect their WOMEN members. Do yourself a favor and look at the many other great clubs in the area. I have never been treated so poorly by any club in my life. If I was a homeowner, I would start asking questions about who they hired.#protectyourhomevalues#respectwomen

Absolutely incredible! Best out door barbecue I have ever had. The pork shoulder was cooked with homemade chipotle. Best potato salad I ever had. Full selection from chicken, pork, beef, salads to desert. And full bar on the patio overlooking the 18th green and lake Wylie.
