River Buffet & Grill

Went here for dinner and they have such a large selection of food items. I had to try a little of everything! Nothing had a name on it so it was kind of just guessing, so their salt and pepper chicken (or jalapeno chicken?) was my favorite, as was the coconut shrimp. I tried they sushi and it was pretty good for a buffet. Server kept our drinks refilled and took plates in a timely manner so service was excellent in my opinion. It was really crowded inside and people weren't really courteous of their surroundings; it was very much every man for themself. I had to stop and stand still and stare at the person in front of me a lot before they got the hint to go around instead of walking through me. As an introvert who despises crowded places, I would try here again. Maybe around lunch time rather than dinner.

We had reservations for twenty. Easily accommodated with a long set-up of tables strung together in their party zone. Works well without any frills or pretense. Check-in was easy, peasy and priced at $20 plus tip, which I encourage since they continually cleaned our table and quickly refilled half-empty drinks.Lots of food, mostly just OK, and replenished continually, at least on a Sunday. FYI: Arrive before 1:00 PM before it gets slammed. Just saying.My main complaint was although they provide gloves to handle the dozens of thongs to handle food, almost nobody thought to use them. Sanitizer stations should be placed throughout the service area and not just in the restrooms, IMO.Overall, it was a feeding frenzy buffet. Tons of food, tons of people, tons of ethnicities, tons of hands touching dozens of utensils. Has my "Give 'em a Whirl" meter donning a mask, gloving up, and wondering if Covid is truly over. Otherwise, it was an interesting event.

It's a huge Buffett - with endless choices it seems - one doesn't come here for healthy food but yeah if you want options and like Chinese this is your spot! I didn't get a single pic but it's great for groups and when you want to EAT NOW! The pepper chicken was tasty - several rices choices - a hibachi grill n sushi bar all come with the price! It's self serve but our waitresses kept our beverage glass full and checked in often!

The service was average but know the servers are busy keeping the place clean and serving guests. The food was just okay and the quality isn't the greatest. It's a family friendly environment.

This is my second time coming here. The first time I came with my friend and thought that the food was decent, nothing to ride home about, but the price is right! I took my son to Big Air, which happened to be right next door, and once we'd been there for a few hrs, we worked up an appetite and decided to have lunch here! $12 for adults and $8 for kids - that is not bad in my opinion! They have a variety of foods, an extensive sushi bar, and a hibachi station that's all included in the price. Most other buffets would charge extra, so that's a plus. I wanted to try the hibachi, but every time I went up, no one was there, so I can't comment on that. The food was mid, nothing really blows your socks off, but I did enjoy the pot roast and the sauced chicken wings. I mean, you name it they have it! Prime rib, chicken prepared different ways, pasta, Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, shrimp, fish, ribs, sausage, creamed spinach, and the list goes on. And honestly, for the price you shouldn't expect gourmet dishes, but for what's offered, it does what it needs to do! IYKYKThe staff is polite. There's plenty of seating with enough space between patrons. The place seemed clean. It was not super packed when we went, which was around 2:30 pm on a Wednesday! I'd never go out of my way to come here, but it's a nice affordable option when in the area!

This was an absolutely fantastic buffet! Everything was delicious, and I love that there was no extra charge for hibachi and sushi. We went with a large party, but they were very accommodating, and everything was absolutely delicious. It may be my new favorite Chinese buffet! Highly recommend everyone try it out.

It's a decent buffet for a decent price . My faves are are the seafood salad and the gerneral Tao. Today there was no air flow in the place and the hostess up front had her phone on just ringing and ringing.. blah

Not the biggest fan of buffets but I actually enjoyed this one. The decor is very family friendly and feels spacious and inviting at the same time. The food is well prepared, served hot and is kept in a good rotation. I think what surprised me the most was that the hibachi was no added cost as well as sushi. So there's the option to have freshly prepared food to your liking. It's self service which is typically but the wait staff made ensured drinks were refilled promptly and used dishes were removed in a timely fashion. Best enjoyed when with a group of friends/family.

Haven't been here since it was renamed couple of years ago. I was shocked - Chinese food was pretty good - crispy egg rolls, pork dumplings and cream cheese wontons were the best

Can no longer recommend this restaurant!Ate there once a week for 8 months. Used to lvoe this restaurant and told everyone I know to go here for a long time. But recently - the food has radically declined since Oct. 2024. People I had referred in the past came back recently to tell me the food is less than mediocre and they won't be returning either. Management at the front desk checkout is unusually hositle when you are paying. Does that make you want to return or give them more money? Not so muchl. lolWill be trying out China Buffet - reviews sounds good .Another option: House of Leng in same area as River Buffet - the food is amazing! Everything they have is so good. And they always appreciate returning customers!
