This little restaurant was hopping when we arrived, and we had to wait for a table. The restaurant was decorated with bright and attractive items. They serve all the normal favorites from other Mexican restaurants I have been to, and were quick to bring chips and salsa once seated. The service was good, but a little slow (probably because they were busy). It wasn't the best Mexican food I have ever had, but was good. I would definitely return, especially since it is convenient to where my parents live.

Food is yum, lots of variety. The rice is better than the other spots locally. Service needs some work.

This place my family and I do not like. We ate there once and the food was not good Mexican food at all. We also ordered something for my daughter to go and they messed up that order. The food is not good.

I will start of by saying the salsa was great but the portions are a little small for the price. I had the fajitas and they were ok, just small portions.The negative side was I went in to place the order because no one was answering the phone. I walk in go to the counter and half way through placing my order the phone rings, the guy answers the phone and immediately starts taking the rather large order leaving me there waiting, keep in mind I was almost done ordering. After the lengthy phone call he looks up at me and ask for me to repeat the entire order. Am I missing something, why would you not put the phone call on hold while you have a customer placing an order? I'm sure the large phone order also went to the kitchen before mine. This really ticked me off and was extremely rude. If I had not been traveling from out of town and knew other options at 8:00pm at night I would have walked out for sure. I'm here working for the next month and I will not be back.

We LOVE Rey Azteca! We feel like family every time we go. Service is always great and the food is always delicious (take out or dine in). Never a bad experience!

I was in York around dinner time by myself and I figured I'd check out something new and found Rey Azteca. My taste buds and my stomach are happy I did! I had the special, beef enchilada and beef taco, a beer and then finished out all of with flan. Everything was great including the chips and salsa. And the prices - put it all together and this place is worth driving to! Oh, and when I came in 8 o'clock the place was packed with only 2 tables available - always a good sign!If you're searching for authentic Mexican food with great flavor - this IS your destination!

Did not care for the chips n salsa, chips were hard and were a mixed batch some were lighter colored and some were darker colored. The salsa was runny not much to dip and hold onto. 3 soft taco's were $9, meh I get it everything has gone up but I can make them at home next time especially if the chips n salsa are not going to be included as part of the experience. Please put pricing on the drink part of the menu, I would have liked to ordered something but didn't want to find out later when the check comes it is some outrageous price. Yes you can ask, but it is annoying as no server anywhere ever knows how much something that they serve costs. They have to check and it is a whole thing or a language barriers sometimes.

I had camerones Mexicanos. Nice quantity of shrimp and they were cooked well. Waitress kept a good check on the table of 7. Typical Mexican restaurant decor and music.

Really good authentic Mexican food.....service is great and very friendly.....you will leave happy and stuffed
