This is my second stay in a year. We had great customer service when we stayed a year ago. Everyone was so helpful. This stay was nothing like the last. After checking we we went to parking deck toPark. Upon entering the hotel parking garage we asked the policeman/security standing in the entrance where the accessible parking was. He told us to go left and all the way to the end of the garage to the "overflow" area. This was a long way from the hotel entrance. After getting luggage and guest in a wheel chair unloaded we proceeded to the hotel entrance, I spotted a handicap parking spot right in the front door to the hotel. I told the policeman thank you for parking us a block away. He stated we didn't tell him we were hotel guest. He didn't ask and we had the hotel parking pass on the dash. The hotel list on their site they have "Room Service". I called the front desk to inquire and was told they did not. She said there is a bar upstairs that serves bar food. You can call and order but you have to go and pick it up. Then she said,"they are busy so they probably won't answer the call". I asked if there was a menu. She said "on line". I informed her there was not. She said use the Que Code, there maybe one in your kitchen. There was not. Is there an ice machine on a floor for guest? No. Again you have to go to the bar and ask for ice. The room was clean and comfortable. So if you are only looking for a bed to sleep in you would be fine here. If you need anything at all, check with the bar if they aren't too busy to answer you.

Spacious room. Friendly staff. They missed a room clean one day, but provided towels after some time when using the app chat. The phone did not work. Shower pressure was a bit weak and took a while to heat up. That area could have used an upgrade and some mildew cleaning. Otherwise the bed was comfortable. Large kitchen and lounge area. I felt everything else was clean. Small but annoying issue was the limited space pulling in the hotel. It's a very small loop.

Nice stay at this Residence Inn. The staff was very friendly, the hotel and the rooms were clean, and my experience here was like many of the other Residence Inn by Marriotts that I've stayed in around the country. Very good, easy and predictable, but nothing earth shattering. Would stay here again the next time I'm in the Charlotte area.

Ok....so I had enough points to stay for a night as I was seeing a concert......Positive things it is in the heart of Uptown..Easy to walk to various places and restaurants...Nice decor and super clean .I was lucky enough to have a corner room any floor with "15" is perfect... Nice view of the city.In fact room is set up perfect as I would love it for a retirement studio apartment!( See pics)So that is 4 starsWhy a three star... Well the breakfast was " free" but stale English muffin, fruit was 50/50 ...50%good and 50%. Not so good... Plus the coffee.....I may be snobby...but it's just not good.... So I ended up going out for breakfast....Elevators are a bit slow and parking is $30 valet or $28 for overnight if you park it yourself. However location location location was great!Worth another stay! And finally elevators are a little slow

As we travel the East Coast often, it is important to find spots where we can accommodate adults and kids. This location is perfect, close to a park to play at, a major ball field to catch a game, and many downtown attractions. The only negative is the lack of support from the staff. On each visit, seems like once you check in they forget about you. You have to call multiple times, or send an app request multiple times, for towles/etc.The bar is a hit/miss, if opened at all. The breakfast is not well coordinated, for covid times. The breakfast staff seem to have an attitude issues. We will stay again, but now we know what to expect.

My first hotel stay during covid. Felt very safe. The lobby is pretty much closed, no bar, no open kitchen so not much reason for people to congregate in groups. Rooms are clean. Shampoo and conditioner are attached to the wall in the shower in full size pumps. All reading material has been removed from the room. Bed was comfortable. Enjoyed our stay.

MY FAMILY And I absolutely loved it!!!! I live in a communal living arrangement, only 4 miles from the hotel and my family lives in Rocky Mount. I was able to save money and spend the best birthday weekend with my children yet. She's four and he's nine!! The smiles from the manager, Chris and his employees Tory and Keisha were infectious. There was a lady who helped us when we ate breakfast. I appreciate her assistance. I work in the service industry too. I had to tip her. she went above and [email protected]

worst stay ever rooms had no soap no shampoo the rooms are not cleaned throughout the stay. You have to fix that yourself unless you are staying 5+ nights! the night staff was extremely rude! I would not recomend to any one! First night of my stay the police were called due to an unruly guest. Fast forward and I understand her frustration do not come here!

I would definitely recommend this hotel just for the location alone. And if you have a pet this is the place for u. If not u may want to choose somewhere else because you will see, hear, & smell them all the time. I stayed here almost a week and never received any room service of any sort. I had to go to the front desk for clean towels. It's not the cleanest hotel but the location and the friendliness of the employees was enough for me to recommend and revisit

Overall, our stay was a major disappointment. We stayed there overnight for the Elton John Farewell Concert, and even if we hadn't been paying the doubled event prices for our room, the stay would have been lacking. The Good: 1. Front desk staff was fantastic. Busy as they were they took time to answer all my questions and meet my needs.2. Location: Not having to deal with 10s of thousands of cars leaving a venue was fantastic. We could just stroll back to our room.3. Having actual dinnerware and silverware was a nice touch! The Bad: The mattress on our bed was. . . lacking. I've stayed in $75/nite Mom 'n Pop motels that took the effort to make sure the rooms had a good comfy mattress. Ours here felt like a clapped out Big Lots bargain special. Also, we felt that having to go to the front desk for ice, snacks, and soda was inconvenient. The Ugly: The aforementioned silverware. The first spoon I picked up to stir coffee with had a burn mark on the bottom typical of someone cooking up a dose of heroin. Not the hotel's fault but . . . damn!Breakfast hours were advertised as 6:30 to 9:30. Personnel were closing off the service line at 9:05. Since there was an event the night before, thought should have been given to extending service hours to 10 or 10:30, since there were likely to be a lot of guests wanting to sleep a bit later after a busy night. In any case, attempting to shut down the serving line a half hour EARLY was totally unacceptable.
