Reid's Fine Foods

This review is mainly for their brunch. They have a great menu with a lot of options for food and drinks. Our server was so nice and helpful giving us other options when our drink we wanted had ran out. I ordered the French toast and it was delicious. I love the big patio when the weather is great.

Reid's is a great grocery store in Charlotte for high quality food. They have items of their own brand as well as other popular items. My absolute favorite are the lady fingers, a must buy! Reid's also has sit down dining with a great selection of food. Service is great and a good casual dining experience. Looking forward to my next visit to Reid's!

So disappointed with the catering I ordered to pick up for my bookclub. First, the automated system sent me an invoice with the wrong pickup date so I had to call and email to learn that they are fully aware that their automated system routinely sends out erroneous information, yet they didn't think to follow up with an email that would inform me of that. Second, when I went to pick up my order, the two employees at the counter had absolutely no idea what to do when someone enters their store to pick up a catering order. Third, much of the food was inedible. The Spinach Artichoke Dip tasted like it had gone bad ~ even my omnivore husband wouldn't eat it. And the hummus was tasteless. I ordered catering because I'm not a good cook ~ but even I could prepare more palatable food than this!

I had the pleasure of attending a ticketed holiday wine tasting event at the bar. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and the tasting came with a made to order Philly cheesesteak. Only down side abt the location is the parking lot is small and can certainly be a challenge depending on the time of day. The bar does do weekly specials like half off wine glasses etc, great place to go and relax after work or on a wkend. Perfect for girls night, date or solo outing.

Pretty disappointed.... Both my water glass and wine glass were dirty, both had dried chunks of stuff stuck to the glass and one even had lip prints on it. I also ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap and it didn't come as requested but I ate it since they all seemed pretty busy. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the Caesar dressing and the chicken itself were very good. Unfortunately, I don't see myself returning to Reid's in the future.

Food quality well below expectations, prices are way to high. I ordered a cold club sandwich and received a cold, grilled club sandwich with cherry tomato, chopped Romaine, sliced tomato with the core. Fruit salad was old and slimy, just not good for $30.00 at lunch. Tried to contact the store, no answer, emails unanswered as well.Will not return

The burgers at full price are worth every penny !They grind their own beef, loosely patted out and cook to perfection

Went for dinner with a friend on Wednesday which is 1/2 price burger night!!! Loved every minute sitting at the bar, watching our food being prepared and sipping wine! Burger and fries were both delectable and a steal for 9.99! Highly recommend

We had brunch at Reid's last Sunday! Not only was the food great, but we were so impressed with our wait staff! We especially loved the attention we received from Walt! He was a dear young man and completely compassionate and kind to all of us. Reid's is lucky to have such a devoted worker and personable employee! Makes everything more special!! We hope people remember good reviews are just as important as negative ones!!!! Kindness is contagious. Thanks Walt! Good luck with your future!!! You will do well in all your endeavors!

I regret to say that Randy, the parking attendant at Reid's grocery, made my experience utterly disappointing. Not only did he poorly manage the parking lot, but he also wrongly accused people of driving aggressively for simply going 3 miles per hour. Furthermore, he indiscriminately booted cars for parking in spaces he had wrongly designated as fire lanes. Given this frustrating ordeal, I must add that the location is not worth visiting for the parking they provide.I'll pick another location or store completely before coming back to Reid's.Best of luck
