Cool brewery in the downtown concord area. Love breweries that use these old historic buildings. This is a little hidden upstairs. There are 2 separate entrances. One thru ice cream shop or back side of building. Nice selection of brews. I enjoyed the Dolomite stout and hubby got the Murph ipa. Don't have food. But Havana Cuban restaurant will deliver. Awesome. Staff is great. Thank you Madison.

As many have noted, it's a bit tricky finding the entrance but don't let that deter you from paying a visit. The entrance is at the middle of the block, next to a centralized parking area. Just open the door by the Red Hill sign and go up that lengthy staircase.Once you reach the top of the steps the space just really opens up. The layout is great with lots of seating. It's big enough for indoor cornhole even! The beer: I tried two of theirs - The Murph IPA was a my favorite, followed by Pinky and the Brine, a watermelon Gose. I also had two of their guest beers from Railwalk Brewery - Patio Time, a Pina Colada Blonde and Hazed and Confused, a Hazy IPA clocking in at 8.5% ABV - they were decent but I far preferred Red Hill's own stuff. So why is there a picture of my bloody leg? Some dodo put a floor fan right in front of the bar where I tripped over it and cut my leg. No bueno. Only once I complained was it moved. I did shoot the owner an email - he responded right away, took it very seriously and promised to train his taproom staff how to better handle customer injuries.Cool place - solid beer - and hopefully no more fans on the floor to trip over - lol!

This place is awesome! I had such a great time here. It is upstairs in an old building and there is a back entrance and a hidden front entrance through the ice cream shop. I guess there is parking in the back that I did not know of, so I parked on the street. The beers on tap are unique and delicious. I had Pinky and the Brine, which is a nice gose. They have games indoors, so you can play inside and keep cool. It's a great space. It's large and roomy. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable.

I stopped in Red Hill Brewery last night for a couple beers with friends. I love this brewery a lot. There's quality beer and friendly staff.Red Hill has a cool and relaxed atmosphere and is in a pretty sweet and lively little downtown area. It sits upstairs so it can be a little tricky to find. It's worth it though.

Pretty small as far as area breweries go, big in taste though. They have a few different beers but the Sundrop raddler is amazing! Definitely one of my favorite beers, i try to make it a point to get one every time I'm in town. The Murph IPA is also a really good choice. Just a heads up they just did a remodel though and won't have any of their beers back on tap until 11/15/2019 according to the bartender this weekend. Still open with guest taps and a few of their IPAs in a can.

A craft brewery that is truly a pain to get into! Completely hidden behind a block of antique buildings, in a weird alley way, through a door up a hellish flight of stairs, through another door. Located in some old creepy attic space, straight from 1932. They have a sign out front in another stores window, with a note that says come around to the back door. It was like an old speak easy!! Knock knock.. Joe sent me! It was quite a trek to find this place and actually get in to it. Those stairs are about a 45 degree angle, straight up. I cant see how this is safe.. especially after you have been drinking? Not a good idea. This place is about as low buck as they come. Like some home brewing project on a slightly bigger scale. The service was super friendly, fast and checked on us often. The bartender was great. Thats what the 2 stars are for. They had maybe 6 beers on tap when I was here. One good beer, and some pretty bad ones. Cool idea and story to the place. Get it in a better location and refine the beers. It has some serious potential. I will be back later for another visit. The restroom is another trek across the entire building through a shagging dance club, a food prep area, and down a hall into an old closet. It was clean, but straight from 1932!! And no hot water? Wow. One of the weirdest places I have been. Worst location ever!

A true craft brewery with small batches of truly drinkable art. They cover the standard palate of beer types but are willing to experiment with the likes of strong sours or tropical fruits. It's a garage hobby turned brew pub with the owner pulling the tap. Hail the little guy! Worth searching this place out - hidden off an alleyway, behind a creamery and above a workout gym in the heart of downtown Concord.

What a great little brewery!!!!! Tried 4 beers and loved all 4! We are avid brewer hoppers and I can't remember the last time we tried one and didn't at least dislike one. Can't wait to go back! The sun drop radler.. there are no words at all

Tonight's experience at Red Hill Brewery was a huge disappointment. I love craft beer, I frequent a few breweries in the area, and I have worked in the beer industry for several years now. I had heard of people talking about red hill, and I loved the idea of a neighborhood brewery, but after tonight I will most definitely not be going back. I have been to a few restaurants and breweries during COVID, so I understand the precautions that are in place that take away from the typical dine in experience. This is not about that. First off, the beer is not even mediocre. I ordered the radler, which is supposed to be a combination of their Blond beer and Sundrop. It was terrible. A radler is supposed to be light, effervescent, and refreshing. It was very flat and had a smokey flavor on the back end. A poor representation of a radler. In general this brewery doesn't appear to really specialize in anything. I also tried the stout which was nothing to write home about. Secondly- there was a bartender who presented myself and my two guests with an attitude the entire night, outlined as follows: - We had just ordered a beer and were steps away from the bar. I had taken one sip, and before I had a moment to even figure out seating, she confronted us (I assume because I had my mask down for that sip). Instead of just asking us to sit a table, she spoke to us with an attitude, something about "this is just the way it is" as if we had a problem with it. - The other bartender was standing behind the bar talking to guests with her mask pulled down. Ironic, right? - At 10:06, six minutes after closing, the initial bartender approached our table and asked my friend if he was finished, and he said yes- could he get another beer, to which she replied last call already happened and they had already closed but we could come back another day. Once again with an unwarranted attitude. Why would you see an empty glass and ask if we were finished if you weren't able to provide another beer? I have worked in several breweries and the protocol is and should be to not drive customers out the door so soon after closing. Clearly the beer was totally gone, so she should've just waited until we were out the door to collect glassware. If it were 10:30 or 10:45, maybe, but not 6 minutes after closing. - lastly as we were leaving she was apparently yelling after us as if we didn't close our bill. We had closed out with the other bartender after the first round, so I guess since she didn't check us out, she assumed we didn't pay? Thankfully this happened as I had already started my way down the stairs and was totally done with the place. I was always taught the guest should be welcomed and accommodated. Although there are unnatural/uncomfortable parameters at this time, good quality customer service is still possible. Out of all the breweries out there, I chose to come to this one during a global pandemic- but maybe they just don't need the business? It's unfortunate because the only thing this place really has going for them is the space itself. They have live music and tons of seating. If the beer quality and service was average, that would have been great. Unfortunately tonight's experience was below average and for that reason I'll never be going back. It's a shame. One and done.
