I visited Red Bowl Asian Bistro in Rock Hill, S.C. a few days ago.I ordered the chicken and broccoli with fried rice. It was delicious! The broccoli and carrots were crunchy and the sauce was very flavorful. The rice was more like brown rice - very good.I ordered inside and waited. There is inside dining which is spacious and there's plenty of parking since the restaurant is within a shopping center.It's definitely a place to visit to try more from the menu.

I spent the night in Rock Hill on my way home to Jacksonville. I met a college friend for dinner at Red Bowl. I was amazed by the restaurant decor. The lighting was dim, which would be great for a romantic date.We ordered appetizers only, which included crab wantons, shrimp and wings. The wantons were crispy and hot and I loved the sweet dipping sauce. The shrimp were a little spicy, but good. And I enjoyed the wings.Our waitress was friendly and checked on us regularly. I would be curious to try some other menu items when stopping through Rock Hill next time.

I had such a great experience going to lunch at red bowl. This was my first time there and I would love to come back. I got there around 12:30 and it was not too crowded and we had great service with the waiter checking in on us often. There are a lot of lunch options, so it was hard to choose what to get, and everything I saw looked good. I got sesame chicken and fried rice. I liked that there was also a little bit of broccoli in there. Every meal also comes with an appetizer or a spring roll or vegetable roll. The serving was very big and my friend and I both had leftovers from our meals. This came out right away and the rest of the food did not take long either. This was a nice sit in Chinese restaurant, there was a bar also.

Thanks to its proximity from our house, we've ordered from here quite a few times over the years. We always ordered sushi/sushi rolls from here to supplement our Christmas Feast at home.I've always thought that their Specialty Sushi, for instance, was overpriced... especially given its weak presentation. Also, I've noticed that sometimes they deliver better quality foods than other times. Another inconsistency is their service. Sometimes it's pretty good, but then there have been times that I left feeling near shocked at how short/rude the service was.For THIS Christmas sushi supplements, I found them very disappointing. The "Red Bowl" roll was SO minimal...just 5-6 pieces, with nothing but Soy Sauce as ornament? WOW. Felt somewhat ripped off...and seriously, I just don't remember this roll being so Blaaah! Maybe it was because of the Pandemic?? Still, given what we ended up getting for the price, just can't rate this order higher than 2 stars.Honestly, I've never been truly impressed with the food here. As a fusion restaurant, some of their Chinese and Thai dishes are just not authentic at all. In fact, I often recall thinking these dishes taste like something you'd create at home...falling way short delivering great, authentic tastes.Still, again, it's ideally located...and provides some Asian food cravings when needed. For its convenience alone, we're bound to return for more. If, however, we get 5 small, sloppy pieces for their "Red Bowl Roll", think it's something we're going to stop ordering.

Ok, last time I went here it was decent. We both had the same dish though....spicy basil chicken.This time it was awful!!! The fresh roll was terrible. The shrimp in it was old (going bad old). The rest of it was old iceberg lettuce that had been in a refrigerator for days. I mean terrible, not fresh at all. The waiter (that said no problem at all 50 times) saw that we didn't eat it and didn't even ask.... Didn't care.The black pepper chicken was terrible. The chicken was thick chunks that were old. I guess we went on a day they were getting rid of old groceries.I wish this place cared about food. They could be good.

For me this is the best Chinese restaurant around rock hill/york/fortmill. Restaurant is beautiful and clean, the couple who presumably own the restaurant are incredibly nice. The Food is amazing, really just perfect fried rice. And the sushi comes stuffed to the brim with whatever you ordered, and my rice actually more than 3 shrimp! Would highly recommend the Spider Roll!
