We celebrated the 103rd birthday of an amazing woman tonight. The staff was very nice, professional and courteous throughout the event. The food was great from beginning to end. If you need a traditional banquet style venue for your event check them out.

We moved out of Charlotte 4 years ago. The thing I miss the most is my Raintree Country Club membership. The clubhouse is not the most modern, in fact it's down right old looking, but thats not what makes it great. The service is fantastic, after only a few events, the staff knew my name. Always friendly and ready to help. The food is good, the burgers are fantastic. I miss the Shecrab soup! But again, that's not what makes it great. It's the golf and the mens club! Two 18 hole courses, one is longer and straight, the other is shorter and tricky. The conditions are good, the greens fantastic. If you join, get in the Men's club! The events are interesting and extremely well run. The handicapping system pretty much eliminates sandbagging. Thursdays is a 9 hole skins game you can't miss, and they set up the foursomes with a person from 4 different handicap 'groups.' The club championship and member guest events are the best i've played it.Trust me, if you live in the Charlotte area, Raintree is the place for you!

I attended a breakfast meeting for one of the organizations I belong to, and the club did a fabulous job. Raintree is located in the heart of the Raintree neighborhood in South Charlotte. It is conveniently located to the Arboretum area, and I-485 for an easy in and out. The staff was courteous and kind, and went above and beyond to get me a cup of tea when coffee was the only thing offered on the buffet. Going the extra mile always impresses me! I would reccommend booking your next medium to large function at Raintree!BTW....the golf and tennis is great too!

I am not a golfer, but I've gone with friends from work to enjoy the outdoors and a couple of cold brewskis while they played golf. Raintree has 2 full courses to keep members happy. The clubhouse and restaurant aren't swanky, but a-ok for dinner and drinks after a day on the links. The staff I've met are friendly and helpful.

It might not be the very best golfing Charlotte has to offer. It is likely the best golfing value Charlotte has to offer.

This track has 36 holes. I played the south course. I did not enter the clubhouse or hit range balls, so I gave no opinion about those aspects of the club. Putting green was perfect for giving me a good sense for what I would encounter. Speed was exactly like the course. Well done!Outside staff and starter where great. I give them high marks. We played the white tees. The back tees looked doable, but we had a much nicer time given this choice. Speed of play was great. We played in well under 4 hours and we had several groups in front of us. It was obvious the greens had been aerated a few weeks ago (guess), but they had good speed and were smooth. I really enjoyed the overall condition. I'd say tees and fairways were great and greens were about two weeks from being superb. All putts stayed on line. I can't deduct for the greens due to the aeration. Gotta be fair. The layout was fun. I hit lots of drivers until the 16th hole. The last three holes are fun, but more strategic. The members at this club probably have it great. I sensed speed of play is a priority. To the members. What a joy to play a fun track that's in great condition in way better than 4 hours. Super positive day.

This place sucks!! It is very poorly managed and the maintenance team is super lazy. Anytime I am out on the links with my buddies we just seee them sitting there in their golf carts doing absolutely nothing! Also everytime I finish on hole 17 I look into the woods and a see where everything get dumps and there is trash everywhere. This place needs some serious work

We have been members for over 20 years, and our use of the club has varied--first with kids, then no kids and working, and now retired. Some years we utilized the facilities more than others, and the membership has always worked with us to meet our individual needs. This may not be the fanciest of the clubs in the area, but the golf courses are beautifully maintained and the members and staff are without fail friendly.

I have been a member of this club for many years and have paid a food minimum quarterly. this is a waste of money. Service at one time great and provided by a staff of regular long time employees is now horrendous with long waits, members of the same party being served at various intervals and the staff who get an 18% service fee no matter how surly they are showing no concern. Last 5 meals I ate there, the hot food was lukewarm or cold and tasteless. The club is in great financial difficulty and is skimping wherever it can. The facilities are shabby and when I had to seek out employees in their inner sanctum for drink refills, I have seen filth. Complaints to current management and board members about this are flat out disregarded. Children, drunks, and handicapped individuals operate golf carts right in front of rangers and the clubs insurers and administrators claim they have no liability even when members have been severely injured right in front of rangers not enforcing basic safety regulations. This is one of the few reviews I have posted where I feel sincerely that both walking to the establishment and eating the food may be hazardous to your health.
