Amazing Pool Hall! First time there last week and I love that it's not very loud in there. The bartenders were helpful. Everything needs to be ordered at the bar, including food. We had the chicken tenders and the quesadilla and I was super surprised at how fresh the food was. We normally frequent pool halls that tend to get super loud and rowdy, but I don't mind driving from university all the way to Matthews for the perfect pool hall.We will definitely be returning!

Best in Charlotte. Just make sure you call ahead if you're looking to make a night of it. They run leagues here daily and it gets PACKED. And when it's packed parking is going to be a challenge...just bring some walking shoes!Full kitchen and bar, that's a major treat. Food is pretty good for bar food too. The tables are in great condition. They have 19 9ft tables and 2 8ft (coin op). I like it...

We did about an hour and a half of pool, 6 drinks, an order of fried pickles and pretzel bites all for $80 which I don't think was bad at all. The big bearded older bartender was nice. Good atmosphere. All around a good time

Great place to shoot pool or hang with your friends. The place was very clean and the staff was very polite. They even have a side room where you can play cornhole!

If you're ever in a need of a pool hall that delivers not only exciting games but an unparalleled safe space for being incredibly gassy, look no further! This place will have you busting your best shots, and also your best farts. The combination of delicious nachos and intense competition gave me a case of gas I can only describe as explosive. I was practically composing a symphony of toots and clacking of balls. Despite the continuous chorus, the staff was stellar. They never complained about the occasional thunderous blast, but in fact seemed to appreciate the added atmosphere. If you're looking for a great night on the town and don't mind the occasional atmospheric disturbance, this place is for you!

I've been here several times to play pool. All of the staff I met were very attentive to my needs. The tables and equipment are in good shape. The other players are friendly.

A real deal pool hall that Charlotte & Matthews should take great pride in. Spacious and accommodating with an awesome layout. Island style bar that is raised above the main floor in the center of the room, with plenty of seating. It's easy to relax and have a bite to eat (the beer was cold and the food was really good!) or enjoy a spectacular view of the pool tables, which surround the bar on the front and sides. Speaking of which, the pool tables are just beautiful! They were worth the trip alone. 22 tables in all; 18 9-ft Competition tables that are vintage American style by Black Crown and Brunswick. Covered in traditional green-they are fast, clean, and have been very well loved! You just feel cool playing on them, as they show the wear of use, yet display it in the best way possible. It's very impressive. Two 8-ft Standard tables and two 7-ft Valley "bar boxes" are there as well should you prefer them. Truly an outstanding place if you're a serious pool player in need of somewhere to shoot. I was really impressed with the atmosphere and feel of Rack Em, and I look forward to going back as soon as I can!
