Brother Quidley never disappoints!He got new seats and tables in the place too!I took my bestfriend with me and she LOVED it too!We're both very picky on our Caribbean food! She gave it 10 out of 10!As a Afro-Cubano, I know good (authentic) island food when I taste it! Blessed!

I always speak highly about the quality in taste however; I was not able to do such when I ordered yesterday. I called in to do a mobile order for a combination plate of oxtails and jerk chicken. I was informed that they were out of a lot of items and the chef was out at the market to stock up. Being there was no option for oxtails, I ordered a jerk chicken entree. I didn't have the best story to tell this time around. The chicken was dried out and seems as if it could have not been fresh. The cabbage was a little on the salty side and the Mac n cheese (boxed). The only sides as an option was collards and potato salad. I ordered the Mac n cheese which is an up charge. I hope I am able to write a better review on my next visit as Charlotte already struggles for quality authentic Caribbean food.

Great service; and the food seasoned to perfection. I had the jerk chicken, rice, sweet potatoes, and cabbage. I have also have had the greens and they were good also. If I could eat here at least once a week I would.

I came on my lunch break abt 3:30. I guess earlier lunch crowd wiped them out because they were out of so much. But I was able to get me some oxtails and curry chicken. It took a good min for it to be cooked and I was really the only sit down customer but I believe they had a lot of take out orders to make. Anyways, once the food came out it was well worth the wait. Meat was so tender and flavorful, cabbage was beautiful and cooked perfectly. Rice was awesome and those yams definitely were not from a can. Overall good experience and I would certainly go back. Only reason why I knocked down 1 star was because I couldn't see what their grade was, I don't know if I completely overlooked it but usually I would expect it right there in plain view behind a register.

I can't say if you should try it or not. Went for lunch and what I wanted they didn't have. They had counter seating and what seemed like another side that's maybe open when it gets busy? It's a limited menu it seems at lunch bc she told me "they haven't even started the grill yet." I wanted the jerk chicken. They only had curry chicken and brown stew chicken. It might be good but I wasn't interested. When I asked what time the jerk chicken might be ready her response was "I don't know. I mean they are just now seasoning it and haven't even put it on the grill. It won't be until much later (I was there at 2:20) if we even have it at all today." I was like ohhhh ok then and walked out. It's out of the way for me so I probably won't go back to see if the food is worth it. I suggest calling ahead to see if they have what you want. You live and you learn.

Let me start off by saying this: Quidley's food is good. I ordered the curry goat and oxtail combo, with cabbage, rice and peas, and pumpkin rice. Delicious. I also ordered a ginger beer. My Dasher called from Quidley's. There was a wait for my cabbage so they asked if I'd like something for the inconvenience. I said sure, coco bread. (Later I found out they also gave me collard greens too. Nice!) My food arrived, minus my ginger beer.I called Quidley's. Both ladies I spoke with were really sweet and apologetic. I still wanted my ginger beer though, so I said I would reorder it through Doordash and asked if they could comp a second one as a courtesy for not receiving my first one. So basically buy one, get one free. I didn't think it was an unreasonable request. They disagreed at first but we talked it out and they kindly accommodated me. I really appreciate them for understanding. Good food, great service. Will definitely try Quidley's again.

Hear me out! The food is bomb, but the portions not matching the price at all. I got a combination plate. Oxtail & curry shrimp/ rice&peas, collards and mac&cheese. I got 2 pieces of oxtail, 4 pieces of shrimp FOR 40$. The oxtails were seasoned well but no meat, just fat. The pricing needs to be worked on.

Aye mane say mane. Hands down the best carribean food I've had in Charlotte. Portions are more than enough. I love that they use purple cabbage. And the pineapple ginger juice. I need that by the gallon. Highly recommend
