Queen City Grounds

Order: CappuccinoSummary: Good coffee, but this is basically a stall. Not somewhere you'd want to hang out. Also, parking was stupidly expensive.Review: I've been to the other Queen City grounds location in years past, so when I was looking for some good coffee, I looked them up. Unfortunately, I didn't realize this was a "mini location" on the ground floor of some office buildings. When we walked in, it quickly became apparent that my friend and I weren't about to sit down and hang out. There was basically no sitting, and I'm assuming most people who come here are from the business above.The coffee was great, but I wouldn't go back here because I like to hang out when I go to coffee shops out of town. I could maybe see myself letting someone with me jump out of the car and order while I swung around to pick them up if I needed a quick fix.Oh! And we spent maybe 15 minutes getting coffee, and the parking garage charged us $4. Insane.

This place is Charlotte's best kept secret. My husband and I walked over after noticing the sign and to our surprise they are OPEN! The lounge area is very cool and the service (by Aydin) is second to none. The choices are limitless, the creativity with the coffee craft is not just another smoke and mirrors gimmick, and the taste is BEYOND great! It's so hard to find a place with reasonable prices and the taste of coffee that hasn't been scorched. QCG is where you can go to find your zen. Thanks Aydin for your hospitality and high quality barista skills. This will be our new coffee go-to spot! And yeh, I'm bringing all my friends both Yelpers and Non-Yelpers alike! Side note, VERY clean space and easy parking!! THANK YOU ALL!

I love the 4th ward location so had high hopes for this one. I unfortunately was a tad underwhelmed. It is more of a pop up coffee stand in a lobby area with a limited menu. Vanilla latte was a bit sweet and def needed an extra shot of espresso. Service was EXCELLENT though. Parking was easy and validated. Will try again. But def more of an OG fan.

I have gone two days in a row this coffee is so good. Honestly a very friendly staff with quality espresso
