I had a great experience with Ash from the bakery! From the start she was kind and patient with me while I put in an order for a specialized birthday cake. I showed her a photo of what I had in mind and the cake turned out perfect. I was all around impressed with her customer service, and will be back for other special occasions because of her!

This location is clean and well organized, staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and prices are reasonable. I love grabbing a sandwich from here; much better than Subway and I like them better than Harris Teeter, too. They have a really good wing bar and hot bar on most days.

This is the Publix we always go to and the one we've been going to for about 6 years. They always have everything we need, but everything is overpriced!

I went to Publix Sep 1 and bought the avisados 2 for $5. As it turns out, they were completely black inside and one of them taste disgusting. I literally had to throw them out. These produce should not even be sold this way. Quite disgusting!

Harris Teeter is still my go to store but this location will give them fits.Harris Teeter has always been the gold standard in our local market. That is, till Publix moved in.90% of my grocery shopping is still with Harris Teeter but we occasionally shop at Publix for cut fruit, fresh bakery products and a few items that Harris Teeter does not carry.Store is new and very clean.Only problem is that they run a very lean operation and it you can't find something, you have to troup to the from of the store to get an answer.Otherwise a very good competitor.

A shopping experience at Publix is no short of pleasant and enjoyable! I have fond memories of going to Publix when I was growing up in Miami, so I was very excited to see a Publix open up in Cornelius, NC. This particular Publix is clean, organized and has a nice parking lot (with easy angled parking!) In terms of value, you can't go wrong with their BOGO deals. BTW, their sales paper is super easy to read and is organized really well. If you're buying items that are on sale, I think it's comparable to most grocery stores. I also think their private label items are reasonably priced and taste good.Lastly, I'm a big fan of the Publix bakery. It's the only reliable place I've found to get a good Cuban pastry like a pastelito in the suburbs of NC. Also, I grew up on Publix birthday cake, and I wholly believe it is the tastiest. Their custom cakes are super convenient, and they give you many options for cake flavor and decoration. I've never been disappointed by their selection. Furthermore, they can get you a custom cake quickly. I believe it was 24 hours, but you'll have to check with the bakery counter.

Sub shop review because today, Tony was fantastic! I stopped in to pick up a lunch for my sister who I mentioned had just had a baby. Tony put my sub together like a pro and even made suggestions as to flavors and sauces that would compliment my choice of protein. We had great conversation, he offered the upgraded combo (chips and a drink) which I didn't need, wrapped my sandwich and wished me congratulations on becoming an aunt! All within 3 min... I was out the door for about $8 with lunch and a great vibe. Thanks, Publix, for always being a solid grocery in the area! And special thanks to Tony for the awesome and personable customer service!!

Do you know what it takes to get photos in a supermarket without getting caught? More than you think. I can't just take a photo in plain sight because it's weird. Instead, I pretend I'm a spy and take some stealth shots like it's a surveillance mission. And I don't get caught. Homie don't play that. I'm getting this inkling that you're not sure if I qualify as a homie. Definition of Homie: an acquaintance from one's town or neighborhood, or a member of one's peer group or gang. I don't live in Denver NC, but I do live in the next town. When I visit Publix in Denver, the staff says hello and smiles. Maybe I'm giving myself too much credit, but this makes me assume they remember me. Therefore, they are acquaintances from my area, and in turn, my homies. And that makes me their homie. In fact, the next time I enter Publix, I fully expect the older lady at the front to say, "What's up, homie!" and give me a pound. This place is super clean and the staff is incredibly friendly. However, I bought a cannoli and the cashier said it was an eclair, but an eclair has the texture of a puffy doughnut; a cannoli has the texture of a cookie. I like both but prefer cookies.

Worst experience EVER at this pharmacy. They close from 2-3 for 'lunch'. I waited until 3:15 to call and see if my ex-husband's SEVEN scripts were ready. No answer after trying for 45 minutes so I drive over there. I walk in at 4:10 and the pharmacist (Drew) is EATING while the two techs are standing there shooting the breeze. Didn't they just close for an hour for lunch? Can't be bothered to pick up the phone? I have a patient at home who JUST had open-heart surgery. He needs his meds but they can't be bothered to answer the stinkin' phone. The prescriptions weren't ready, even though they had been called in before noon. I told them to just transfer them to Walgreens and I will go there and have them filled. I go to Walgreens to pick up the prescriptions and this INCOMPETENT and LAZY pharmacist (Drew) called in all of my ex's OLD Rx's instead of the ones from today. So the wonderful, kind, and patient pharmacist at Walgreens had to call Publix to get it straightened out. Lazy pharmacist Drew is either extremely incompetent or doesn't give two craps about his job. I'm going to say BOTH. No compassion, no customer service skills, no competent job skills, total lack of any kind of communication, no time management since he can't get his dinner eaten in the hour he took off for lunch and closed down and disabled the pharmacy phone. This is not the last letter/review I will be writing about this situation. Never again, Publix. You SUCK.UPDATE: The prescription for his painkillers was completely overlooked and never sent over to Walgreens. Today is Thanksgiving so now the patient has to spend TWO NIGHTS with no pain killers after having his chest cracked open a week ago. Shameful INCOMPETENCE. Disgusting apathy.
