Publix

I'm going to sound like a freak saying this but I was mesmerized by this store! So big and so much variety. I do not live in NC but this was the best Publix I've ever been in. First off they have a Starbucks inside! Yasss. Second they have a food bar in the middle by the deli and bakery. There's a salad bar, an olive bar, a soup station and a hot food bar. Very nice if you work near by and come here for lunch. They had a separate section for "specialty cheese". That's amazing and its right next to the wine section. They knew what they were doing when arranging this store! I wish all Publix locations were like this one.

The staff here is like no other grocery store I've ever been in, and I mean that in a good way. I was looking for a thing, could not find the thing and asked a staffer. Not only did he try to find it (we couldn't), he tracked me down elsewhere in the store to let me know where it was. What? That's so nice!The store is clean, big and well stocked. Yay for super nice people!

This Publix is like others in that it's very clean and the employees super helpful and friendly. Also, no card or phone number is required for store discounts.I'd say they are priced a bit higher than my usual Harris Teeter. But, I mostly go here for their prepared meals, bakery and deli. I'm pretty satisfied shopping here.

This is a little out of my usual hunting grounds, but I needed to shop and here it was. Same layout as the other Publixes (Publii?) that I've shopped in the Charlotte area and the same products on display. As with the others, there is a well manicured produce section, neat and tidy grocery aisles, large meat display and lots and lots of tidy frozen.Associates are polite and helpful. The young lady who rang up my order was efficient and speedy. Clean parking lot with clear cart corrals. Oh, and the cart I chose worked great.Publix prices seem to be at about the Harris Teeter level. But if you have the time and it's a bigger shop, consider driving a little further into South Carolina and save on the sales tax.

Let me start by saying I love cottage cheese. You have searched for the best and always come back to Publix. I have tried the organic. I have tried so many kinds I cannot count. This particular one is Large curd and it is thick and cheesey. (sp) Too often I find other brands with too much whey. I presume this is an attempt to keep costs down as whey is much cheaper than the actual curds. If you love cottage give this one a try.

THE DELIBeen living for almost 2 years next to this Publix, literally 6 minutes away and the Deli its the worst I've known. Used to work at the Fort Mill location and they were exceptional, different menus all week, they always had corn nuggets or at least 2 o 3 times a week and they never made up excuses to fry or cook something they didn't have available or sold out. This Publix NEVER has corn nuggets and i just visited today and the clerk told me that asking for more potato wedges could take up to 30 minutes when is not even busy! Like wtf, i was a frier at the Fort Mill location and not even cleaning the deep frier takes so long. Their trays are always empty, like they are not following the meal prep schedule! Such a shame, i thought all the Publix should be the same and run the same way but this one reaaally is faaar from been compared to the other ones.Will definitely keep driving a few extra miles for a better service for sure.

This review is for the whole store - does not include the deli department because they are terrible. This is my favorite publix and I absolutely loVe the cleanliness, great selection and amazing customer service I always experience here. Have never had a problem with expired or old food, and have always gotten what I was looking for. The events planning always goes above and beyond and the bakery has some of the best talent around. Very pleased to shop here every week.I'm from Florida so I'm used to Florida Publix's (who basically have the customer service of Chick-fil-a) and even though no Publix's up here come close to the Florida ones, this one is close as far as customer service goes.The deli is terrible, but most delis at publix seem to be. They always have an attitude, they always take their time and they always look like they hate their life. Real morale problem. They will not go above and beyond for you, they will not try to make your shopping experience amazing because they don't care. Please for the love of god don't ask for a buffalo chicken sub because they will abuse the poor thing to the point it's unedible.

Today I was at Publix Ballantines, and when I went to pay for the groceries, I went to the cashier that you make yourself, and a product had no bar code, when I asked a guy who was there for help. This attendant was extremely rude, as if I had to know where the number to put to make the payment was located. He spoke to me as if I were disabled, I felt very bad since I am already a certain age... very unpleasant this situation

Never would have guessed that I would ever order a fresh sub from a grocery store. I usually go to small sub shops around town, today I wanted to try something different and I'm so glad I did! Their subs are AMAZING!!! Everything was fresh and everyone was friendly. While waiting in line, I saw what looked to be a good "southern" hot bar. That fried chicken and potato wages...WOW. So now I know what's for lunch tomorrow!

Dillion on the hot station was absolutely wonderful, he has a great attitude and made us some amazing subs! Even though they were understaffed he never rushed through making food and kept his station clean! I wish him the most success in his future!
