Publix Ballantyne

I did not know that Publix had an event planner until I was planning my wedding!Someone suggested to me that I should meet with them when I was planning my wedding. So, one day when I was out dress shopping, I took my maid of honor with me to Publix. I met with Mary, the Aprons Event Planner and she was soooo nice & so helpful! She took me to meet with their flower arrangements artist Barbara and she was fantastic! She has an excellent eye & is very creative. She gave me some great suggestions for decorating for my outdoor wedding!! In fact, both Mary & Barbara gave me great advice and lots of ideas! So, I decided to use their floral department for all of my arrangements and I was not disappointed!!! They did an outstanding job on everything from my bouquet to the maid of honors flowers to the arrangements on the tables & the ceremony flowers & boutineer for the groom and best man and celebrant.I decided to go with a restaurant to cater the dinner, but I used Publix to cater the hors d'oeuvres and they did a phenomenal job!! They were on pointe with everything and delivered plus had a great price point! I was very pleased with all that they did! Publix, you turned a truly devoted Harris Teeter fan into a truly devoted Publix fan!

Best Publix in Charlotte! I've been multiple times and I have always had a great experience! When we cater lunch at the office, we always pick up our desserts from there! They're delicious! I have ordered a meat and cheese tray for a party, and it looked great! This might be my new grocery store!

Publix itself is amazing. I was born and raised in Florida and worked at publix until very recently. I'm a die hard publix fanatic. However, this publix is not nearly as good as the one in Indian Land. The deli is always slow, even when there's nobody in the store. And the bakery is constantly out of bread and the associates are very unhelpful and appear too busy to help a customer. I gave it such a high rating because I love publix. This is the one closest to my house so I have to drive past it to get to another publix to shop at. I find myself constantly disappointed in the service here.

I know this location is fairly new but there's just something about this chain that is so comforting. It doesn't matter what city and state I'm in; when I walk into a Publix I know I'll find what I need. Corporate training is doing something right!!!! I live around the corner from another grocery store and find myself traveling out of my way to get to my Publix.

The service is outstanding! Will definitely buy my grocery here. Plus it's cheaper than Harris Teeter. They push your cart to your car and unload the groceries too. Great service again and it's new so clean and well organized inside.

Publix is the best grocery store, I'm so happy they opened up nearby. When I walk in, I go straight to produce and every time they have the best selection; quality and quantity. I go for the for sale items and they are just as good as the regular price. When shopping the first pepper, onion, head of lettuce etc I choose is in good shape. No more searching the pile for the perfect produce they all are perfect. As I'm shopping every associate that I came across had a smile and said hello. They're very willing to help you find what you are looking for. Well staffed store, it shows in the cleanliness of the store and the shelves are well stocked. The cashiers are so helpful, they unload your cart for you and they will also push your cart to your car and help unload groceries. I will continue to shop at Publix, best bang for my buck and the best selection of foods!

This store always looks good. They do a nice job with the sandwiches they make in store. The bakery does a great job with their custom cakes I have ordered more than 10 and every one has been great. Their catering department has always been helpful. A much better option than the other competitors nearby.

The shopping experience is great but the catering experience was disappointing. I just will continue to shop there.

Feeling very disappointed, first they forgot to give us the desserts that we ordered and the wraps were soggy lettuce wraps. We could not see what was Italian, turkey/American cheese or veggie wraps that we ordered. I was kinda embarrassed hosting. It was the time and last time we will order from Publix, I understand it is a busy time of year but I would rather have them say we cannot fill the order than to give us poor quality.

Don't get me wrong, Publix is my favorite go to supermarket! I choose them usually over all others because their price is usually pretty standard across-the-board in every department. A huge negative that I recently discovered is that they are now charging to cut up your meats if it is not pre-cut and packaged for you. It used to be a service and now it's an additional charge per pound. I think that is absolutely ridiculous and takes away from their customer service. Additionally, it has been a painstaking effort to order from the deli. It seems as though everyone they have hired recently hates their job or hates customers because they take their time they seem disgruntled and the line is usually at least 30 minutes for a two person line. They walk as though their feet is stuck in molasses. And God forbid they go over the poundage you originally requested, then be prepared to eat the cost because they will just ignore and keep wrapping. Wanted to mention that sprouts is pretty comparable for their price of meats and they do cut anyway you like it for no extra charge! Their sushi is always more stealthy looking and they have lots more affordable options. Sorry Publix but you need to step it back up!!
