Prohibition Bar

Went to a bar craw this weekend and this was our first stop! This place was jumping. It's pretty spacious with and the Dj was playing all the hits! Bartenders where cool, nice and didn't skimp on the alcohol!!

After dinner we tried out prohibition to get a drink. The place was dead but it was only 8pm. We heard later that this place may not get going until after 10pm. The bar is nice the outdoor patio is cool since you can sit outside enjoy a cocktail and watch the people and cars go by on Tryon. The bartenders were plentiful and they were responsive to our needs. I am not sure they serve food but they have a full bar and plenty of tvs.

Fun atmosphere inside and out. The air conditioning in this place was amazing! The drinks were cold and the bartender was friendly and welcoming. The music was alright..

Bouncer is an absolute idiot, claimed that mine and my wife's IDs were fake and he took hers and wouldn't give it back unless we called the cops. So we did, and then he realized in that thick empty skull of his that maybe it might just be a real ID, so he gave it back after that but not until he bent it until the plastic seal (which shows the holograms) broke on it so now she needs to go to the DMV to get another one and he wouldn't even give us $25 for the replacement because he's obviously a broke bum. Cops said that this is a WEEKLY problem that occurs at this bar. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Go to literally any other bar.

Recently went here for a quick drink around when it opened. It was a really neat atmosphere and the staff was very friendly. I had an old fashion and my husband had a gin and tonic. We definitely need to go back when it is alter because it turns into a night club!

Right upstairs is the dance floor and other bar to dj, vip sections also available. The music playing was all types and good songs we dances too. and people vibing on Sunday night people raging for 4th July weekend. Thank you will look forward coming back.

The place is very nice and the bartender was lovely. The only thing is that the drinks were not good at all. Ordered a whiskey ginger and legit was all ginger with a splash of whiskey.

Such an amazing club. In my opinion, this is the best club in Charlotte. The sound system is great, the ventilation is also great, you can dance with all kinds of people here, and the bartenders. Keep the drinks flowing all night long with a smile. The bouncers are also super chill and friendly. Even for me as a blind person, I have never felt unsafe here. You hear all types of tunes here from Waka Flocka Flame to Daddy Yankee to panic at the disco. It's right around the corner from the truest center parking garage and there are two Halal carts within a block. If you can't have fun here, I feel bad for you.

I normally come here a lot but noticed the last few times I was getting charged additional tips the next day. I take pictures of my receipts and tip cash for this reason. they stole my tip again and messaged them and still haven't received a response !!

During a Wednesday outing at this fine house of ale and spirits, a bit of a scuffle broke out at the establishment, but did I fear you ask? Nay, for I knew I was protected by Braedon the bouncer, with himself between us and the rambunctious rapscallions who's scuffle had now broiled into the street, my lads and I were able to resume a night of ale and dance.
