Worst quality of BBQ I have seen in the county. Look at the complete arteries and veins in this BBQ. I would have never served this.

Great BBQ place in Kernersville! Large restaurant inside and you walk right to the counter to order and then seat yourself. The huge sign from the street made this place each to find. The parking is in front and on the side. We were there on a weekday lunch and they had a nice crowd of people. The BBQ was excellent. The portions are large. We each enjoyed our plates. The ribs, fries, hush puppies, mac and cheese bites (yes!!)- were all delicious. Don't think twice, if you want BBQ go to Prissy Pollys!!

Prissy Polly's is a good spot for those craving barbecue and other southern fixin's. The service is great, the ambiance is divey and comfortable. The barbecue is good, their Eastern and Lexington sauces complement the barbecue well. My favorite side to order are the mac and cheese bites!

Prissy Polly never disappoints! Carolyn and I stopped by for an early lunch after a doctor's appointment at the VA nearby. We each had the Eastern Style BBQ plate with sweet slaw, French fries, and hushpuppies. As usual, it was delicious! For those who don't know about North Carolina Pork BBQ, there are two very different styles - Eastern and Lexington. Eastern is whole hog - more pig picking style where they cook the whole pig and use everything to make the Q. Lexington style uses port shoulders. Both are slow cooked, preferably over a hard wood fire. The sauces are also different. Eastern style is more of a vinegar based sauce, while the Lexington sauce has more of a tomato base. Both are quite tasty, and quite different. Three are also differences in the sides: two different slaws. Eastern is sweet and yellow (has some mustard in it) while the Lexington style is called BBQ Slaw and uses the tomato based Lexington BBQ sauce. Eastern sides include boiled potatoes with a bit of a kick. Their Hush Puppies are to die for!Truth is, it is all delicious, and Prissy Polly serves BOTH styles. You can mix and match the sides, and build your BBQ plate just the way you want it. You order and pay at the counter and they bring it to your table. You can also get it to go, or even use the drive-thru. Everyone is so friendly, and the BBQ (whichever you choose) is among the best in the area. If you are ready for a North Carolina BBQ Adventure, Prissy Polly's on Highway 66 in Kernersville is the place to start! They even have some bluegrass music a couple of nights a week.

Visit this Family owned BBQ and more restaurant while in North Carolina. We just missed the live band show. They do have a live band on Saturday night I believe. We enjoyed a delicious dinner of fried catfish, fried okra, side salad, a rib dinner with sweet bake beans, pull pork dinner with Mac and okra, hush puppy ring, and Brunswick stew. I heard a lady say how she loves the cheesecake with pecan praline sauce. So yeah we had to try. Omg it was so DELICIOUS. Wish I brought two.. lol A big thanks to our waitress Cindy. She was so nice and friendly. She made sure we were ok and more. Yes we recommend this location if you're in North Carolina

One of my family's favorite places in the Triad. It's kid friendly with a variety of southern fare. I don't often eat the bbq, but it is certainly tasty! My go-to is the catfish, the veggie plates and the bbq chicken, but really I don't think you can go wrong. This past Friday night, my family and I enjoyed a delicious meal and ended it all with their new banana pudding crunch. It's just a big bowl of their already incredible banana pudding but topped with a crunchy pecan crumble. I highly recommend it!! As you can see in my picture, my youngest was obsessed with it too.The staff here often consists of a lot of young people, so they aren't always the most friendly, however they rarely make mistakes and the service is always very fast! The owner came out to visit and made sure everything turned out well. Such a great touch!

Very outdated interior with dirty bathrooms .Catfish was mushy and tasteless . Bbq chicken was Nothing more than over grilled and thin well done chicken patties . Cole slaw was gross. Mac and cheese balls were all batter and no mac and cheese. nothing appealing here at all. DIRTY tables. Old school, no frills very average food. definitely pass on this one.

Since moving to the area, this is my favorite barbecue place! The food is good, it's not pricey and they also do orders on DoorDash! My dog loves the leftover hush puppy rings.

I had the vegetable plate and was very pleased. My husband had the bbq plate with Eastern and Lexington style. Both were really good. Hush puppies were crispy and flavorful. Atmosphere was down home country.
