Gotta love a small local business that knows what they are talking about. Great chocolate. It ain't Hershey so don't expect great chocolate to be cheap. It's gourmet taste & presentation but really great. It's upstairs in a tiny office. We were greeted by the owner & the guy that makes the chocolate. Oh ya I'll be back. Great gifts too

Revisited this chocolate shop on the third day was opened. The owner Blair was a pleasure to meet. He explained how his business came to be as well as gave many details on his shops products. We we're giving samples of delicious truffles as well as purchased delicious chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and chocolate bars.Recently I visited the shop and was popular surprise that they were offering shop made ice cream. Although brownies are not currently on the menu until next month I was able to purchase their vanilla based ice cream that was full of brownie pieces and dark chocolate. I have nothing but good things to say about chocolatier Blair Potts and his friendly wife Margo. Because this is a chocolatier shop and everything is made from scratch, of course the costs are not the same as your average candy store or supermarket. Everything I've ever purchased from that shop was absolutely amazing and worth every penny.

In Manhattan or Paris or Monaco, 16 tiny chocolates might go for $35 or $40 and be packaged in a beautiful box with fine note card and gold labels and stickers. They'd also be exquisite cocoa with varied notes of fruit, nut or flowers. Not here. $50 in a soft cheap box with nothing fine and notes printed on a desk jet. The chocolates all have the same bitter notes and are generally unpleasant. It's a small business and I was hesitant to be this honest. But it's a Charlotte racket in need of a comuppance.
