Portofino Italian Restaurant

We usually LOVE this place.The food is always good and the service is normally fantastic.Not sure why, today, we were treated as if we were invisible.We sat for 14 minutes after being seated.When we got up to leave, with 4 servers standing within 10 feet of us, they wished us a nice day.We explained we were leaving because no one ever even spoke to us once we were seated.You're not busy.There were 3 tables seated.There is more staff present than customers.You probably just lost us as customers.

The serving staff were extremely unorganized. We were seated and then left for almost 20 minutes before our drink orders were taken. The appetizer was never brought out. The positive was the pasta, it was amazing. Unfortunate experience given the incredible food coming from the kitchen.

Horrible food do not go. My wife ordered the penne à la vodka, it really didn't taste like vodka sauce, and it made her stomach upset. I ordered the shrimp tortellini Alfredo, it tasted good at first, but then I found a long black hair in it. Needless to say, I didn't finish the rest of mine. My father-in-law ordered the spaghetti meatballs, and the meatballs were bland. They literally had no seasoning. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I always enjoyed the great service at Portofinos, my daughter loves fettuccine Alfredo and I asked the waiter which plate is the closest to what she likes and suggested pasta alla panna which was a great choice. Our waiter was Pepe his native from Italy and we enjoyed having an Italian/Spanish conversation during our dinner. I love supporting local restaurants & getting authentic italian meal. I would also suggest to get the Tiramisu. Plenty of parking and enjoyable ambiance.

10 NEGATIVE STARS!! STAY AWAY IF GLUTEN FREE. Wow, this was the worst experience of lazy stupid I have ever dealt with. So, I ask for Gluten Free options, I am told yes we have Gluten Free penne. Fantastic! What sauce do you recommend? We don't have any gluten free sauces or options. ... so , what are you recommending??? A bowl of plain gluten free penne. Seriously?? This is a joke right? Nope. That's the only option we have. That's not an option! So warning all gluten free eaters! They don't have sauce or options for you so if they said it was gluten free, it was not!! That's dangerous and irresponsible! Stupid stupid stupid!! I'll be knocking the dust from my sandals as I leave.Ok, so no owner or manager came over to say anything as I sat at the table not eating anything. That shows a lack of decency and respect and responsibility. I give this place 10 negative stars.

I've been eating here for years. The food is always delicious. The servers are always friendly and knowledgeable. It's such a pleasant experience every time. Try the house dressing.

Had a group of 5. Two orders of spaghetti and meatballs, one salmon special, one lasagna and one veal Marsala. All dinners were delicious and the portions were huge. (Everyone had a takeout box). The veal Marsala came with a steak knife but was tender enough to cut with a fork! The service was excellent! The server was friendly, attentive but not overly so. The price was very reasonable! Will definitely recommend and return!

I have visited about 3 times and it never disappoints. Authentic Italian food, great menu and good prices.

The food is delicious, the service is good and the ambience is great for date night or catch up with old friends.

Silverware was dirty. Service was terrible. In their defense we did go at 3:30 in the afternoon which I'm sure was the end of lunch service but not the beginning of dinner service yet. This is a transitional time for a fine dining establishment. However, we clearly got the end of lunch service. Pasta was dried out. The veal parmigiana tasted like the veal had been warmed by deep frying in old oil as did the mozzarella sticks. Only one waiter and he was too busy eating himself to check on us. Overall a terrible experience and I won't return.
