Wine was worthy of the drive . View even more ! What a lovely place ! Food was good but just normal bar food . Staff was amazing and very helpful!

The grounds here are amazing, set up for full enjoyment of the vineyard. The views are unmatched, so serene. I tried the oak barreled Chardonnay, though I wish I'd did a flight and took more time absorbing the flavors and the location.

Who knew Hendo had so many beautiful wineries! Point Lookout is my absolute favorite winery in western NC. Situated on the top of a gorgeous mountain with panoramic views, delicious wine, and the cool breeze of the NC mountains! Tons of wine to choose from but I recommend their dry sparkling wines as they aren't too sweet. Sometimes they have rose slushies and people love those! They do sell food but I recommend bringing your own meats and cheeses and making a picnic on top of the mountain. Trust me, you won't want to leave once you're there! A true piece of paradise.

One of our favorite wineries. Finally made it back. Beautiful views!! Great wine and a yummy charcuterie board! Also have pizza and other snacks.

Came to a concert night at the winery, brought our food but they had food for sale too. Wine was very good and reasonably priced.Great setting !

If you're visiting Western North Carolina in the summertime this is a great spot to relax and enjoy a bottle of wine!They have a great selection of their own wines and a few beers to choose from not to mention they're is usually an on site food truck. I'm not a wine critic and I have enjoyed everything I have tried there but mostly go for the amazing views!

My husband and I visited Point Lookout on our recent trip to Hendersonville. Beautiful place and views! Staff is friendly, wine is good, we loved it. Thank you again, we'll be back!

Daughter and I visited this vineyard New Year's Day 2025. We shared a Mead Tasting at the cost of $15. Watch your tastings. The first mead was supposedly Traditional, which was amazing with nose of amazing spices. We order the bottle and was totally disappointed. I believe they switched the tastings around which didn't indicate the correct label. The Traditonal bottle was nowhere what we tasted in the tasting samples. So watch what you receive. Before you purchase a bottle ask for a tasting of that particular bottle.

Bride review: Where do I start!? Point Lookout Vineyards is an absolute gem, I'm so happy I had my wedding there!! Cindy is an angel and was a tremendous help to us throughout our planning and stress. Not only did we not really know how weddings worked, but we were planning from different states and time zones and were bugging Cindy a lot over phone calls. She was so patient, kind, and stress-relieving through it all. She truly had our best interest in mind and went above and beyond in helping to bring our dream wedding come to life with our budget. The venue is so gorgeous with the vineyard, mountain views, and high-ceiling, rustic wooden, open-air cabin vibe. Also, all the guests were surprised how good the wine was! Not to mention the other staff working the wedding were lovely people as well. The only thing that's a little weird is the vineyard being open to the public, even during a wedding. But they are kept isolated to the back area and aren't noticeable other than when leaving the bridal suite or when taking pictures out back with the pretty mountain views. But overall the venue and having Cindy as the coordinator was an awesome experience you will not regret for your wedding!Groom review: I really don't think I can put into words how amazing Cindy is. Cindy is one of the nicest, sweetest, most reassuring, and accommodating people I have ever met. My wedding would not have been as incredible as it was if not for Cindy. She was always available to talk on the phone, even when I was 3 time zones away living on the West Coast. She taught me everything I needed to know about weddings and helped my wife and I create the wedding of our dreams. Cindy catered to all of our requests and answered all of our questions. The whole planning process would have been a nightmare without her! And when it came to wedding day she took charge and made sure everything was going just the way we needed it to. The way she helped decorate the venue was out of this world. Point Lookout Vineyards is an amazing venue and it's lucky to have Cindy in their corner. You cannot go wrong with Cindy :)
