Stopped by Po Boys Low Country Seafood Market and grabbed a half-pound of shrimp and okra--such a great choice! In the picture, I had already separated some for lunch and dinner, but rest assured, the portion is generous. The shrimp were fresh, plump, and perfectly seasoned, while the okra had that classic Southern flavor I was craving. If you're looking for quality seafood with that authentic Lowcountry touch, this is the spot. Friendly service, fresh ingredients, and great value--I'll definitely be back!

You're going to laugh when I say this, but I found the fish to be too fishy. I think it's because they fry it with the skin on, and I'm not a fan of that taste. Now for the good things. Food was delivered on time and still hot. The sides were tasty. Good size portions for the price.

I'm sorry to do this, but I have to lower my rating for this place. Since COVID, they adjusted pretty well until this year. Changes have been made. New staff front and back of housePoor customer serviceBeer is available on tap and cans. Open on Sundays nowMenu has changed and a lot of items are goneThe option to buy raw, fresh seafood is goneMy hubby bought me some shrimp and then were dry, rubbery, and fried too hard. My fried Okra tasted old. Fried oysters were dry and hard. Very disappointing. Sadly, I probably won't patronize again. It was a good run, but I think this place has run its course.

I got to finally try this spot for a to go lunch order the other day and was really impressed! I ordered their salad and added garlic salmon. This salmon was HUGE! Cooked to perfection and seasoned well. The salad was pretty basic with iceberg lettuce and a few other veggies. Super delicious and filling! I didn't think this would fill me up but it absolutely did and it was delicious. My boyfriend also ordered their salmon as a meal and got Mac n cheese and green beans as his sides. I tasted the sides and they were also amazing!I would absolutely go back and try other things. They seem like a great spot for seafood and I'll definitely be back!!!

I used to live in Florida where on every corner was a fried fish joint. It's so hard to find those here in Charlotte and a good one at that. This place serves pretty good fried fish. Order: shrimp poboy, catfish poboy, fried catfish, fried flounder, dirty rice, fried okra. These are items that I frequent here. Their fish is always crispy and not overly battered. Nicely seasoned and not overly salty. Their poboys are good too, especially the shrimp one. It's served on boogie bread with lettuce and tomatoes and a side of poboy sauce. A simple sandwich but very good. I believe all of their items are a la carte, so none of the sandwiches or fish platters come with a side. You'll have to order it separately. The only entree that comes with a side is the kids meal.

Was craving a seafood broil, so decided to stop by here and see what's up. Located off freedom and looked a bit sketching but nothing too bad. Greeted immediately, and the cashier was super nice and efficient. Ended up ordering their large seafood broil that can be shared between 2-3 people. Ordered their fried fish platter that came with fries and an extra side, which we decided on rice. The seafood boil does get served in a to go box. Any entree you order does get put automatically in a to go container, no other option. Since it was put in a container, the spices and mixes do not mix well. We also had to order more old bay because there was barely enough and not enough flavor. It does come with corn, potato, sausage, and shrimp. We also added 2 crab leg clusters. It definitely was not my favorite as I like to order the ones in a bag so it all mixes well. Either way, it was tasty and ended up eating it. They have a variety of other menu items that look delicious. The fish was delicious and very flavorful. The rice did lack flavor, though, but we added some spices and pepper and definitely brought the flavor up. Overall, it's not a bad experience, and if I'm ever in the area, I will definitely come back and try some other items.

Sides tasted like they were straight from the can. Fish and shrimp were bland. The service was friendly and the restaurant was as expected for a fast food place.

If we could do half stars I would definitely give at least a 4.5 out of 5. I ordered the cajun catfish sandwich on a bun togo. I was told it would take 10 minutes and here is where my rating comes in. I was there for about 30 minutes. I understand things happen, but what got me is having to go up to the cashier to ask about my order. When they seen me standing right there and watched as people after me came in and out with there food in no time. I politely asked the cashier who took my order about the status of it and he immediately went to check. Apparently there was a mix up I suppose and my ticket got lost somehow so my order was never made, idk everyone seemed unsure about it. But they did make up for the extra time of having to redo my order by giving me a free beverage and a dessert. So that was a plus. Thankfully I didn't have anything planned the rest of that afternoon though. Now on to the food. It was definitely good. The fish was seasoned and cooked well, the bun was warm and fluffy and the coleslaw was delicious. Nice and sweet but not overly sweet. Every bite was good. For it being my first time I wish my service experience was a bit better. But things happen. I'll definitely be back again.
