My experience at Platform Sports was just okay. Let's start with parking: parking for this location is a bit of a challenge. The parking lot beside the building fills up quickly, and you could easily spend 20-30 minutes circling to find a spot. My recommendation: park down the way in a parking garage and walk up. Avoid parking in unauthorized spots, or your vehicle will be towed - you have been warned.Platform Sports is located on the third floor of the building. Considering this is a new building, only one of two elevators was operational, which was inconvenient, especially with a large crowd trying to enter or exit. This definitely needs to be addressed sooner rather than later, as it could cause significant issues for all businesses in the building.Once inside, we were required to show identification, as this is a 21+ location. Since our party was already in the building, we were seated quickly. However, the place gets packed quickly! It felt a bit like sardines in a can, but I understand they are working with limited space.One thing I noticed immediately was the loud music. We were told there was a DJ present. My party and I could barely hear each other speak. To be honest, it gave me more of a nightclub vibe than a sports bar, which was a bit surprising, considering everyone, including us, was there to watch the game. I will say that the section we sat in had a perfect view of the large screen, which could display multiple sports events simultaneously.Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. She quickly took our order, including drinks. Our table ordered several dishes, including wings, flatbread pizza, several orders of fries, and a lobster roll. The menu items are all à la carte. Most of the food arrived on time, but two orders were delayed by about 10 minutes, despite everyone ordering at the same time. The staff apologized and explained that the last order may have been accidentally mixed up with another table.The food was okay. I wouldn't say it was the best I've ever had; I've certainly had better. My flatbread was good, but I would recommend slightly reducing the amount of blue cheese. While I'm a blue cheese lover, it can quickly overpower any dish if used too liberally. My group felt that the wings were also just okay. One person commented that the chicken might not have been seasoned properly before being tossed in the sauce. Automatic 20% gratuity is added to bill which seems to norm these days. I truly believe Platform Sports has potential. Would I return? Probably not, as it's simply not my type of sports bar.

Greeted nicely by the hosts. If the place is packed they allow you to sit in the bar until a table opens up. They also will send you a text once table is ready. Saw the broncos lose in OT by the bengals while having the mozz moons. All of the food was amazing. No complaints from appetizers, entrees, & deserts.

I gave this place 3 chances and tonight is officially the last time coming. My husband is a huge sports bettor so we were really excited for this place. The tv setup is what originally caught our eye and it is impressive. But the staff is rude! Customer service is horrible! It took our waitress almost 20 mins to come and even greet us. Once she took the order that was literally the last time we saw her until we had to wave her down for our check. I ordered a chicken sandwich I don't know how you can mess up a chicken sandwich, but they did. They're using old grease the chicken was so dark and over fried. The lamb chops were not seasoned either.

Do you want to have a good time? Be in a fun and exciting atmosphere while not missing out on any games? The screen is massive. The venue holds plenty of people. The owners are wonderful and personable. The food was great. I had the calamari and my husband had the buffalo chicken flat bread. We sent empty plates back. We also got a chance to meet the head chef. He told us about his experience and how its been opening Platform Sports. The balcony is scheduled to open later this month. I can't wait to come back and enjoy the night air (if it's not too cold). The DF was great. He played a mix of everyone's favorite music. I didn't mind that the music was turned up and the games were muted. I could focus on my game but when commercials came on, I could check out another game. If you want to have a good time, please give them a try.

This place was packed! I love the concept... multi games streaming at once. It gives Las Vegas casino vibes right here in Charlotte. It's a sports better's dream. Even with all the customers, the service was fast and food was delicious. I noticed all the bartenders at least on this particular day were men and all the servers were women. I was told that wasn't the norm but I kind of liked it. The guys held down the bar rather well. This place does have an outdoor patio as well which was not open today but expected to open soon. I'd say if you are looking for a table to come early. We ended up standing the entire time we were there but I really wish this place much success. The staff was very down to Earth. Their customer service was a 10/10. I'll be back!

I came across an article about a new sports bar that opened ansaI asked my wife would she want to go check it out and she was down for it. We drove down and there were plenty of parking and took the elevator up and upon entering the vibe was electric and a large crowd was representing there. The DJ was rocking and all the servers was extremely nice and courteous to us. I really enjoyed the large wall with all the TVs so you want miss any events. While sitting down me and my wife ordered some food as i ordered the Buffalo chicken flatbread and ordered the cacalamari which both was delicious. This is a soft opening so not everything was available but i certainly understood that before going but there wasn't any problems and is a great place to hang out. I'll advise for everyone to check it out.

I wanted to love this place. I didn't. The hostess was rude and we stood for almost an hour watching tables sit open/dirty. My biggest issue is the tip process. Built in 20%, which the bar didn't tell us. but the server sure did! "20% is included but if you want to tip me, add more." Shady. Drinks didn't live up to the cost/vibe of the place. Food was good. Parking is tight. Video wall is cool!

Nice take on a Sports Bar Lounge. No Draft beer, but they have cans of some popular craft beers food was good and cocktail list was creative. They do charge 20% automatically for gratuity for service wasn't bad. Long walk to the bathroom for anyone that cares. Overall not a bad experience l.

Sports lover's wet dream. Place has it all. TVs everywhere and great food and drinks.
