Pla Mor Lanes

I came, I bowled, I got a little upset when the "pros" next door kept carrying on "like that" and getting in the way of progress while struggling to break 100... probably should have expected as much considering where and when and who but still irritating regardless.monday noonish in between works wondering if I can still bowl after the heart thing. the hammer is dead weight and the unicorn has no magic... neither one is tracking and I'm pretty sure it's mostly me so for $9 the answer is "No, I cannot bowl today." sad face :-(Pla Mor is super clean inside and out but kinda showing its age; carpet is getting threadbare around the edges but still hanging in for the most part. the actual lanes and seating seem to be in good repair and the automatic scoring has some bonus distractions available on screen. the bowler's area is clearly defined and there's even messages on the screens to keep food and beverages in back on the tables and bowling hints too!! didn't see anything going on at the snack bar but sodas are vended reasonably.rates are reasonable and the lanes are fair so if you're near here g'head and bowl here.

Been there four times. Positives; open at 12:PM and friendly staff and the prices are cheap which is wonderful! Negatives; Every time I have went there, the snack bar is closed. Also, they no longer have a bar which is a total letdown since beer always goes great when out with the friends bowling !

Very clean hole in the wall bowling alley. Also had an arcade area, snack bar and bar. Was nice they had pool available however the tables and cues could use some upkeep. The bar was a bar with old school black lighting. Elizabeth was attentive and friendly. We would return for some more fun!

Had a really good time this evening bowling. $14.95 rate after 6pm on Saturday for 2 hours including shoes, very reasonable. 2 of us were able to play 4 games in that time. We had worried about environment because the building is older...wondered if was run down but it wasn't, pleasantly surprised by the experience, very friendly staff, great mixed age crowd. No bad element. Restrooms were clean, beer prices reasonable, $3.50 domestic bottle.I suck at bowling but will definitely go back. It's not fancy, but it's a fun place to go and get out of the house. I love supporting our Statesville businesses. :). I would recommend going there. We didn't eat, but the menu at the snack bar seemed to have expected bowling alley options of fried food and pizza.
