Pizzeria Sapienza CLT

Tried PS for the first time over the weekend watching NFL Playoffs. Ordered pizza with peppers and chicken breast. Super good, seasoned well, nice/hot and I believe 8 slices. I would highly recommend, I will definitely be ordering from them again.Also tried their bourbon chicken which was also good. A bit bready for my liking but flavors were there. I would definitely try it again.

We stopped into Sapienza for no muss, no fuss late night slice for my fiancé's birthday. Positives- I do love the decor, all the pizza themed pictures and art, even the Christmas theme had pizza ornaments.Staff was nice.The pizza was good, I had the hot honey.My crust was way too hard though. I don't know if it was warmed too long. My fiancé had the chicken bacon ranch pizza and he was not enthused.I'd like to go back to Sapienza and get a fresh slice.

I used to love coming to Pizzaria Sapienza all the time, but after my experience yesterday, I'm not sure I'll be back. I ordered two orders of two slices of pizza and dined in with a friend. When we arrived, the place was quite noisy, with the music blasting, which didn't bother us too much. However, what did bother us were the several children running around, jumping on chairs, and causing chaos. At one point while eating, one of the children dropped a chair, which hit the back of my chair, startling me and causing me to almost choke on my food. The man who took my payment came from behind the counter, and I believe these were his children or family members. While I'm not opposed to bringing your children to work, allowing them to run wild, even behind the bar, is very unprofessional. To make matters worse, when the chair hit my chair, there was no apology or acknowledgment. The kids continued to run around, and the chaos just escalated. The loud music, the running children, and the complete lack of consideration for the customers made the experience very disheartening. This place used to be a favorite of mine, but it's just not the same anymore. Moving forward, I think I'll pay a little extra for a different pizzeria where I can enjoy my meal in peace.Update:: Please dont use pride as an excuse, it was well after the parade and no one was barely in the pizzaria. Again, the children being there was not the issue. In any event, owning a business and allowing your children to create that amount of chaos while having paying patriots in your establishment is! Literally, the children were running behind the bar and the pizza counter. Meanwhile, dad was taking payments at the register and managing the location.

the waitress we had Saturday seemed a bit off. she kept forgetting peoples orders. I ordered the shrimp scampi twice! I ordered my meal before any drinks. When she came back around I asked again, assuming she forgot. She stated oh yea I got it. 1 hour later the food never came and I had to really have a talk with her to see what's going on. she told me I never ordered it. That definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. The guy beside me ordered a simple shot a whole 20mins went by before she remembered (after being reminded)

Some of the best NY pizza in Charlotte. Thin and crispy, tasted great. Super affordable too which is rare, two slices your choice and a drink is just a touch over $10. Friendly staff as well!

The food here was very good for a pizza place! However, it was cold, but I was extremely hungry so the taste was great! The pizza were about $4ish so definitely nice for a quick bite or lunch! Staff was nice and the restaurant was clean and looked nice!

We came in to a line out the front. I thought I would have to wait for a while but not so! The employees were fast and I never felt like it was a rush service. I ordered a Caesar salad and a slice of cheese and my husband ordered 3 pepperoni slices. We both don't like pizza that has already been cooked and then reheated in the oven. This place was different. It taste like it had just been made. Not to expensive, plenty of places to sit inside or outside, store nice and clean. Would definitely come back.

If you're a fan of a crispy crust, then ask for a well done slice. It's countertop service, so all the slices will be out for display. When your pizza is ready, then someone will yell it out. They do have a bar so I can assume that there is some sort of personalized service. Seating, for the most part, is unassigned. The menu is available on display above the counter. Lunch here is quiet enough to bring a laptop but too loud for a book. Tables are still spaced far enough in case we end up back in quarantine. It's good...

I ordered pizza, garlic knots, and hot buffalo wings. The wings were good quality chicken and the flavor was fine. The pizza and knots were terrible - just bad dough, bad flavors. I would not order again. Delivery was on time.

Totally underwhelming (both food and service). I don't recommend. And no, this is not what good NY pizza tastes like. Will not return.
