Pizzeria Omaggio

Wow. So good. I can't believe I have not rated this place yet. Great food and people. Great service too. My son loved the desserts.

As much as I love this place, I keep forgetting to return here. I finally chose this place for our date night...and this time, we sat outside on their patio. For starters, we shared their Eggplant Parmigiana...and for our main dish, we both chose pizza, so we shared "Trio" and "Prosciutto Funghi"...and ended with their Vanilla Gelato.Well, all I can say is OMG...Everything was so Delicioso!! I absolutely love their crispy, thin pie crusts. Can't really think of any other pizzeria in town that can make crispier, thinner pies than here?? I had their "Trio" before and LOVED it, and today, it was every bit as good as I remembered it. The "Prosciutto Funghi" was amazing too! I was really impressed with their gorgeously presented, appetizer-sized Eggplant Parmigiana...and even their super-smooth Vanilla Gelato was so much better than expected!Service was stellar as well. Our waiter was very friendly, courteous and attentive.My husband was just as impressed with this place as I was. Think this is my favorite pizzeria in all of Charlotte!PS*** Why are my pictures (6 total) not attaching to this review?!?

Really enjoyed myself eating here the pizza was perfect. Staff kind and attentive. Local to shopping and plenty of parking!

Food was great! A little pricey but worth it. Service was okay, a little quick for us when some parts of the menu were difficult to understand.

This place is in an urban setting embedded in a large new complex that is hard to park at but is walkable from the greenway. Notably, the outdoor seating gets good shade at lunchtime. Ordering a salad yielded me a substantial plate with slice pear, candied walnuts, and goat cheese; the dressing was hardly necessary. My margherita was of the extra thin crusted variety. There are no bubbles and not a ton of flavor in a crust like this. Given that the salad was so big, I was at least able to finish the pizza because of its thin crust. Not the best pizza in Charlotte, but a nice place to get together.

We came to Omaggio for date night and it was delicious! Everything was fairly priced and they had a small outdoor area we enjoyed our food in. We shared the Trio Pizza, Spaghetti 'Nduja e Salasiccia and bruschetta which was a perfect serving for two. The servers were very kind and attentive. We would happily be back!

The quality and flavor blew me away here! This is seriously good pizza and their handmade meatballs were so delicious too! Maybe it's not the biggest space or the cutest location ever, but I would put their food up against any other Italian restaurant in all of Charlotte. Very impressed! Service was just a little slow because of the lunch rush.

As soon as you walk into this place you feel like you have stumbled upon a hole in the wall in Italy. All the servers were very polite, professional, and Italian! We knew very quick this place was going to be a hit. We ordered the meatballs and ricotta as an appetizer. Very traditional and homemade deliciousness! Wish it came with more. My wife ordered the pasta fagioli soup! We ordered a cheese pizza with basil and the Calabrese pizza. Absolutely mind blowing! Real deal Italian pizza you can't get anywhere else. Everything here was to die for. If you are looking for something as close to Italy it is here! Will be back again and now our go to for Italian! Loved it

Ambiance: very family friendly to all ages and occasions, don't feel like you need to dress up to come here.Food: authentic menu with a variety of offerings I've never seen or had before. Really enjoyed the Rigatoni Boscaiola and Di Parma pizzaService: my friends and I enjoyed our server immensely. Her name is Tuba, and she knew the menu inside and out, had very in-depth recommendations, and carried the most down-to-earth countenance. Very nice staff and restaurant. We arrived late and felt like possibly an imposition but owner quickly dispelled our concerns. Service and food were excellent and highly recommend. Have found a place to visit many times in the future.
