I'd been curious for a while to see how they replaced the old slice of Napoli, and finally got the chance to find out last night. I ordered ahead for pickup via the Slice app, and my order was accurate and on time when I arrived. I ordered a lamb gyro pie (15") and a slice of cheese as well as a slice of pepperoni. Let's start with the inside. They closed up the openings in the walls to make for counter service, and this was a smart move. It takes away some of the seating that was there, but there is still some left if you wanted to eat there. They also still have the drive thru operational on the side. The new wall is brick face and makes for a clean aesthetic. There are two places to order inside and a pickup area. As for the traditional slice(s), they are huge! Like really 2 slices in one, and so that's a great value for the price actually. The seasoning was good, not too oily or floppy, and the dough was nice and crisp! Solid effort, and I'll be back for a calzone and Stromboli! The lamb gyro pizza is a great idea and indeed delivers the "Greco" part of the deal! Basically swapping out the pita for pizza, and the tzatziki sauce on the side was fresh as well!Happy to see that a local spot endeavoring to deliver Greek and Italian fusion nailed it on both accounts!

So first visit to this place was not great but we came back & it was much better! This is a great pizza place that also offers some Greek dishes. The kitchen staff are great, counter help a bit slow, but in her defense she is taking phone orders, counter orders & a drive thru delivery. Good neighborhood pizza place with great specials & prices!

Visited Pizza Greco on Saturday for lunch. They had steady business for dining in and taking out. The cashier was friendly and took my order before I went and took a seat. My Caesar salad was ready very quickly. There was a to go container placed on the counter with a cup of dressing. A few grumbles. part of the joy of a Caesar is that it's pre-dressed and the easiest salad to eat. I even just wish they would have put the salad on a plate instead of just serving in the clamshell container. Unfortunately, there was also a piece of saran wrap mixed in my romaine lettuce. I also got a pepperoni calzone. It was a great size and certainly stuffed full with cheese. I wish there were a few more pepperonis in there. I really enjoyed the marinara that came with the calzone. I REALLY wish that they provided actual silverware and not just plastic cutlery. I went through two forks and two knives cutting my calzone into pieces because the cutlery just kept bending out of shape due to the high heat. I love that the calzone was hot (and stayed hot), but it made for just a poor eating experience. All in all, I'd probably get take-out from Pizza Greco again but this experience was just ok.

We have been wanting to come eat at the new place for awhile now, and we finally made it happen! Food was very good (we got 2 pizzas, a salad, and the jalapeno cheese bites... these bites were delicious)! I tipped 20% thinking, okay- they take the order at the register then the waitress brings your food/drinks/etc. but that was not the case. She brought the food & that was it. We got our own drinks & bussed our own table. To me- that's not worthy of a 20% tip, when she literally did next to nothing. Lesson learned. Place was nice & clean. Appreciated that! Not sure how often we'll be back to dine in, but we'll definitely be back for a to-go order. If I have to do dang near all the work, I might as well be in my own home. HaHa.

My first visit here did not go as well as I had hoped, so I decided to try again. This place changed hands several months ago and the name was changed, renovations were done including a larger pizza oven. The husband and wife team that are now the owners are partners in TJ's Deli, and she is part of the family that owns Duke's as well. The husband is from Greece and that accounts for the Greek items that at now offered here.I ordered one of the Tuesday specials - a Stromboli with toppings of ham, pepperoni, and salami - it comes with a drink but no side and goes for $11.75. I also ordered the lamb Gyro with chips to go, $9.95!The order took right at 15 minutes to get to the table. It was perfectly cooked, the crust was a very pretty brown. It was well filled with meat and cheese that was well distributed. The taste was excellent, and it was further enhanced by the very flavorful Marinara sauce. I am fond of Strombolis and this was a very good version- in fact, there are few that are as good, and even fewer that are better. The lamb gyro was massive, the largest I've ever had - it really takes two hands to lift it up for a bite. By far the largest ingredient in the Gyro was the the lamb, and it was both flavorful and tender. All this sandwich needs is a little better distribution of the items so that each bite contains some of everything, and more tzatziki. Had I being eating it in the restaurant I'd have gotten more tzatziki for sure.I very much enjoyed this visit and was please with both the quality and portion size of what I had, there was value in both items. I look forward to returning and further sampling what they have to offer, especially the tirokafteri and the Antipasto.

When I heard that Slice of Napoli had sold their business, I was legitimately dismayed. My favorite spot for pizza, calzones, and hot sandwiches suddenly gone? Say it ain't so! But, I definitely had hope for the future, as I learned the people who bought it also own long-time Winston area favorites TJ's deli (in the same shopping center) and Duke's. I also learned they kept the recipe for pizza sauce intact, and many of the menu favorites.I finally decided to shed my woe, and roll into the freshly named Pizza Greco. This name is accurate, as in addition to most of what you remember from Napoli, there is now a nice selection of Greek sandwiches and foods like Gyros. The space inside has also been seriously upgraded making it feel larger, as well as new upholstery on the booths, which was vastly needed. Drinks are now Pepsi products and self-serve, and it's all counter service, which I also like a lot. My one negative on the drinks, is the tea is no longer brewed, and the replacement brand has a strange smokey flavor I don't like. For food, my wife ordered a regular calzone with pepperoni, and I ordered a regular stromboli which comes with up to 3 toppings. I went for pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms. After about 15-20 minutes, our giant pizza burritos were up and piping hot. They were, as they were before, MASSIVE. We each had half, and enjoyed the other half later for dinner. The taste was awesome, still plenty of high quality cheese, hers both mozzarella and ricotta. Toppings were definitely not skimpy, plenty of all types in mine and hers. If we had one complaint, not enough of the delicious sauce for dipping! We each needed another full cup to finish our other half, and be mindful, there is a 50 cent charge for extra sauce. In general, the prices are higher than what we saw before at Slice of Napoli, but really, that was because they were so much lower than anyone else in the area. Current prices at Pizza Greco are on par with what you'd find at most other similar restaurants in the area. It's impossible not to compare the two, but this will be the last time I do it. I'm happy to report that Pizza Greco is going to make you happy when you visit, and we look forward to visiting again!

Have been back a couple more times. Had another calzone and then tonight went for the gyro plate. Calzone was really good again. Slightly different ratio of ricotta to mozzarella this time so they probably need to work on consistency. Gyro plate was solid for it not being a full on Greek restaurant.

Really enjoyed this place ! They've done a great job inside. Move and clean and well stocked with everything you need . Great menu ! Something for everyone . Pizza by the slice I warn you are huge ! Friendly service and some orders are made fresh to order. Like my chicken souvlaki. Which was really good fresh veggies and nice marinated chicken and great tzatziki. I only wish their pita wasn't as chewy . I like them softer. They come with fries which are nice and lightly seasoned . My friends had the Greek salad which was also fresh and full of veggies and lots on nice fresh feta. They also give you two whole tubs of dressing .The cheese pizza was like I said huge. But nice thin crust. Crunchy and perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Well worth a try. The folks here have done a nice job of keeping a mainstay going at this location. Super clean inside and a few outside seatings as well. Great lunch spot or to go or dinner. They really have a great varied menu .

I had an awesome experience for my first visit! As many will mention, this location used to be Slice of Napoli, which was a favorite in our household. I am so happy to report the quality and care of the restaurant is in GREAT hands! The new owner, which already owns a few restaurants in the W-S area, took great care in upgrading the interior. With new paint, new countertops, and new upholstery, the space looks larger, cleaner, more customer-friendly. I like the switch to counter service so that it's easy on the staff, easy on the customer. They now have a drink station, which I will always prefer to table service. Now on the to good stuff. My calzone was baaangin. Huge slice, and mine was the "small" portion. This was stuffed with high-quality pepperoni and buffalo mozzarella and ricotta cheeses. The dough was perfectly cooked with a nice crust to the outside, soft--but fully cooked--insides. I like the amount of ricotta this one had as often times I wish my calzones had more than what typical places provide. The marina sauce was flavorful and paired so well with the calzone. I only wish I had more! My partner ordered the stromboli and was equally impressed with the portion, toppings, and flavor. The owner was really interested in our feedback on our meals. He was so kind and had so much passion when he talked about his history and of his family as they own several restaurants in the area, including a favorite of ours, TJ's Deli. Knowing the quality that TJ's has always presented, we knew we were in for a treat. I know at some point I will def. want to try out the "Greco" side of the food as they have an expanded menu with traditional Greek options. Bottom line, for those wary the quality has changed with it's new owners, put your fears aside. This place is excellent and is in excellent hands with the new owner, and we look forward to returning soon!
