This place is no longer the pizza box but when it was it wasn't great. Haven't tried it since the owner changed.

Mmmmmmmm. You want some good pizza, look no further. It's out in the middle of no where but worth it once you're there. I was just passing through with work and didn't want anything "fast food" seen the sold by the slice so I thought I'd check it out. One slice is basically a personal sized pizza. The crust was crispy on the bottom and the toppings were cooked to perfection. Stop reading and just go there. You can thank me later!

I absolutely love this pizza place! We live in the Raleigh area and once a year head out to the Emerald Hollow Mine for gem mining. A few years ago we stopped at this tiny place on the side of the road in Stony Point for pizza. I really didn't expect much but was I pleasantly surprised! The slices of this pizza are huge. One slice is like two anywhere else. They use so much cheese and the pepperoni fills the slice. Definitely no skimping here! And as a bonus, the owner and his nephew are so nice and personable! So each year I make the drive with my kids to gem mine and we have we always look forward to stopping for our slice of heaven after at the Pizza Box! It's become a family tradition. I wish they would open a store in the Triangle! So if you are ever in the neighborhood, don't miss a chance to have this yummy pizza... You'll be glad you did!

I ordered a pizza for delivery and was told it would be in here 30 to 35 minutes. I called 1 hour later and was told she left 7 minutes ago and would be here any minute. 30 minutes later the driver calls yelling that she can't find our house and someone at the end of the road told her our address doesn't exist. I keep trying to tell her where we are located but she keeps yelling over me. She finally hears me and says ok I'll be right there. I stand outside for 5 minutes because she's only 5 blocks away. She never shows up. I call the store and the manager says he's sorry and he'll call her and the pizza will be free. It's now 2 hours and 20 minutes and no pizza!
