My second time died at Pizza baby was amazing. Actually sat in the restaurant nice ambience, comfortable chairs with outdoor seating options server, and attentive. I chose a better pizzas this time around ; veggie pizza and meat. I was very satisfied where I wanted to update my review to reflect my experience. The collection of veggies were fresh with delicious sauce, delightful. My wife enjoyed the meat pizza, claims of flavorful and seasoned with crispy crust. Conceivably can become my favorite pizza spot.

We stopped in during a weekend day, right at opening time. We saw that they won 'top 50 pizza places in the US', so we want to check it out. It is a redeveloping part of town in West Charlotte. There is a lot of construction and new building going on the area. So we were happy to see part of Charlotte having new life breathed into it. Our server clearly didn't want to be there. She never smiled or even so much as a 'hello', and we had to wait a while for her to even come over to our table and take our drink order. Her demeanor left an impression and it stayed with stay through our entire visit. ;(We ordered the wings, a 12 inch pizza each, and a soda each. You could tell it was high food quality, but it still disappointed. I am someone who loves pizza crust, but this was even too much crust for me. This was definitely NOT best pizza in the US. We left feeling like it was overpriced, poor service, with ok pizza. We might try it again if we are in that part of town.

Highly disappointed with my service today, i understand that this is supposed to be brick oven pizza spot, but brunt pizza this has to be a joke. Staff was very inattentive not sure if that was because they were trying to pre-close instead of making sure the food was up to par, but I can tell you one thing I would NEVER spend my money on this establishment.Side note~ make sure that workers take off there gloves while being on the phone & wash their hands after they eat food not just going straight back to work :/

I think I've found my new favorite pizza spot in Charlotte! My bf and I went for Valentine's Day because we have been hearing great things about this place.I love the feel and decor of the Restaurant. It was pretty packed when we were there but our server was great and kept our drinks full while we waited on the pizza. Highly recommend the pickle martini- it's amazing! I got the hot honey and pistachio pizza. I'm still dreaming about it! So so so delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more!

I really wanted to love Pizza Baby, but my first dining experience here left something to be desired. AMBIANCE - The space is beautiful. Perfect for a date night! Love the open kitchen concept. We came on a busy Saturday evening and opted to sit at the bar. For starters, there are no purse hooks under the bar so I had to sit my purse on the barstool next to me. Sorry if that seemed like an asshole move on my part, so please consider installing some purse hooks for your purse carrying customers. :)SERVICE - The bartender who served us could not have been less interested in being there. Her demeanor was cold, she didn't go out of her way to be helpful, it was like pulling teeth to get food and drink recommendations from her. The drinks she made were very good, but her customer service skills could use much improvement. FOOD - We ordered the rosemary pistachio pesto pizza (after reading so many positive reviews about this one). The crust was very nice, but the pizza ate sweet. The menu said there is hot honey on it, but I didn't get any heat. I probably would not order this one again. Overall, the experience was ok. Better customer service would have made this a 4-star review instead of 3-star.

Trendy pizza place that has a lot of items to choose from in their menu Service was friendly and prompt. Do not forget to order their cheese bread! It was amazing: think thick crusted bread completed smothered in cheese and garlic. It came with a tomato dipping sauce. The Roman style pizza was interesting. Tasty and fresh ingredients. What is Roman style? Technically, instead of the traditional tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese, Roman-style pizza is often topped with a variety of ingredients such as cured meats, vegetables, and even eggs. The possibilities are endless, and each slice is a unique and delicious creation. This one in particular, instead of a pie, since we ordered two slices, was sort of a ciabatta bread with all the toppings on top of it. Their PLT sandwich was delicious too: fresh lettuce, crispy pancetta, medium sized tomatoes, some mayo. Truly refreshing and enjoyable! We sat outside as it was a nice early evening day but there was plenty of sitting inside.

I came here on na Sunday around 1. The service was great, i loved the atmosphere, very chill but still not dive like. Our party happened to be there when they cracked open a fresh wheel of Parmesan and we got to sample it fresh and it was amazing Now for my actual review which is hard for me to say that I was underwhelmed by the food overall. This pains me to say as i had really high expectations. I found the food to be under seasoned. I usually find that pizza is salty, in this particular instance it was under. We had 3 pizzas, The Rosemary, the one with mushrooms and meat, and the margarita (which I didn't try). We also got the sauce flight, meatballs, and olives. The olives were great, I didn't try the meatballs I didn't hear anything from my party that they were good or bad either way. The sauces in the sauce flight just left me wanting a bit more flavor. I hope to try again on another visit and have a more flavorful experience.

My name is Dr. Orange and I'm an addict. I'm addicted to Pizza. My addiction started as far back as I can remember. Growing up in New York - Well, the rest is history. I've had them all! - Believe me when I tell you I've had them all. My Barber @ Caliber Men's Grooming in Charlotte (Brian L.)- had to tell me about this place. I will not forgive him! Pizza Baby - might quite possible be one of the best Pizza's I have had in my entire life. Hands down - This may be the best Pizza in the Carolinas. My Wife only allows me to have the Margherita; - "Most Days" - we order an 18" Margherita with Fresh Garlic / Well Done. No Flop! - Crispy - Absolutely unbelievable. Confession - We are guilty of not leaving the house and have never actually visited any of the Pizza Baby Locations - Out "Knowledge" is through the Daily/Countless Door Dash orders that we place. The Menu is simple; the Pizza design is simple. Don't be a schmuck and make it complicated. Kudos! - You must try! Pizza Baby - Charlotte, NC is truly out of this world! L'Chayim!

Following my first visit to Pizza Baby I have to say I'm pretty impressed. Housed in a former warehouse the space has an elegant industrial appeal, and despite the name this isn't strictly a pizzeria. They have an open kitchen where they serve up burrata, bacon wrapped dates, and many more culinary delights. You can tell they take their food seriously. Their pizzas come in sizes of 18" and 12", and since I was rolling solo for this visit I elected to order a 12". They have some creative ideas for pies, but I was feeling a bit basic so I decided to go with the starsky which is their take on a meat lovers but asked them to hold the chilis. The pizza was very good. I certainly and curious to go back because their wings looked phenomenal and so did their meatball sammich. They also have a location in Elizabeth known as Pizza Baby East so I am curious to see if it is a similar concept or has its own identity. Wesley Heights is a happening area these days and it's great to see all the new dining options they have to offer, Pizza Baby included!
