We had our second visit to this wonderful restaurant on Thursday the 12th of December and that visit was as good as our first experience several months ago. I have to admit probably the best collard greens I've ever eaten at a buffet, nice to have a restaurant not chop up all the bulky stems in collards. The buffet has a great selection of meats , veggies , salad fixings and desserts ; however one issue I did have is with the fried chicken no breast meat only dark meat (legs and thighs). The price very reasonable at only $12.49 with drink for dinner and with senior pricing. The restaurant is very clean and brightly lit environment,we certainly will recommend.A good value for money and plenty to eat.

It was decent for a buffet. The food was just ok. There was a pretty good amount of variety. The chicken was dry! The fish was hot and good. Mashed potatoes were good. Salad bar was stocked. Just not somewhere I would visit again.

I can see why this is a local favorite. I came here today for the lunch buffet and was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was bright and clean. The staff was super fridndly and on point. Southern hospitality is real, y'all! There was a wide selection on the hot buffet, ranging from fried chicken, to pork ribs, to fried fish. They also have a carving station with ham, roast beef, and I believe a turkey option. The mac and cheese was perfectly cheesy and the mashed potatoes were pretty good too. Everything was well seasoned. They have a ni e little dessert section that included a variety of cookies and cobblers. It was a great way to finish off a meal. The only suggestion I have to the restaurant is to have labels on the food so the customers know exactly what they were getting. Overall a solid joint.

Stopped in here for lunch recently while meeting up with friends. This family buffet is definitely a popular spot for locals, but I found it to be a little on the mediocre side when it comes to food quality. The servers were quick to bring drinks, refill them and clear plates. They had a good variety of options, but all were basically cafeteria grade, all very bland in the flavor department, not strong spices or flavors, just age country cooking for the locals. The dessert bar was very small with only a good options for finishing off your meal. Not the place for me. I won't be rushing back to this spot.

This place is definitely the place to be in the area. The food is great, the prices are very fair and the service is top notch! Everyone was so friendly! There are so many seats that you pretty much can get right in and start eating. Super clean, bright, warm and inviting!

First: ample room to park your RV! Yay! We have been camping (from Georgia to almost Canada) for a month and it was great to find what I call "home cooking" easily accessible along the route heading south. Lunch time had many offerings but we chose the buffet with its abundance of vegetables, salads and meats. The broccoli, cabbage, green beans and turnip greens were seasoned quite well. The sweet potato casserole was delightful! Just like Thanksgiving!! Hubby enjoyed the country steak and gravy and the chicken. We skipped dessert but it all looked great. The service was super - everyone was welcoming and we will mark this on the map. If we are in the area, we will be back. Oh! And the price was great, too! PS...the only thing that kept me from saying even more was that the cornbread does have a little sugar in it. I'm a purist and that's just not "southern" to me...plus, after realizing on this trip that people up north don't even buy cornbread mix in their grocery stores, I realize I am a stranger in a strange land.

I don't know why I stopped at this place, typically I shy away from buffets, and this place is a prime example of why! The food here is absolutely horrendous, probably the worst food I've had in years. Everything tasted old even though the place was packed and busy. Even the fried chicken was dried out. The salmon tasted like it might have actually been rotten. There is a carving station but the meat had obviously been there forever. The only thing that I even remotely liked was this chocolate pudding and Oreo cookie dessert. I threw away more food than I ate. The only positive I can say is that this place is pretty cheap, $15 for the buffet and a drink, but even at that it's not worth it.

Food was average definitely nothing to write home about. I did get the bar. The turkey was extremely dry. The prime rib was pretty good, but still a little dry. Good variety of vegetables. Salad bar is very good and well stocked. The best part about it was the ice cream. Our waitress Laney was excellent and very personable.

Felt like a good salad tonight but always hard to find. I found this restaurant and decided to try it out. What a hidden gem. Salad bar was just what I was looking for. After my salad, I had soup and a plate of a little of everything. If this place was near my house, they would know me by name because it would be top of my list. I plan to be back next time in the area.
