Pinocchio's Italian Restaurant and Wine Store

Wow! We went last night 1/8/25 for my husbands birthday dinner. We had family drive all the way from Columbia, SC. This was our first time having dinner here and will absolutely be our last. 1-waiter acted like we were a total bother to him. Didn't even have a smile on his face. If we pronounced something wrong he looked with disgust and said it correctly for us. I'm not sure in my 52 years of living we have had worse service. We had to constantly ask for more water. 2-potato soup was nothing more than water and "possibly boxed mashed potatoes". The most bland watery "soup" I've ever eaten! 3-the meals were just blah! Nothing to write home about at all. My husband and son in law both got the chicken Marsala and both thought it was so boring. I got the "soup" and a small plate rigatoni. Daughter got a cheese pizza and it was so floppy and so greasy but was honestly one of the best items on the table. My sister in law and mother in law got a spinach lasagna and they said it was just so so. This was such a disappointment and we were so excited to have another restaurant to meet with family that is so close. We did read the reviews before we went. A lot of negative reviews but from so long ago that we thought it would be ok. The ambience is so quaint and really quiet and relaxing. The dining room is adorable. If the food was better it would become a weekly restaurant for us. Such a shame!!!

Was wonderful! Excellent service and food! The staff were friendly and delightful; Chef Amy, Anthony, Vivian, and a sweet waitress who kept our table up to date. We started with the clams appetizer. Perfect. The chef rocks. Best seafood meal I have ever had. (Flounder) with sweet potatoes and green beans. Anthony suggested the special and it was awesome! This restaurant is a must stop and eat for anyone within a hundred miles or so. Great wines too by the way!

Food was excellent. It was packed and they seemed rather overwhelmed but both the owner and chef personally spoke to and apologized to everyone, that's rare. Small privately owned business with a local cozy atmosphere. Definitely will go back.

For a recent family celebration we ordered trays of food from Pinocchio's. Not only was the food abundant, delicious and authentic, the staff was accommodating and so kind. They helped me decide on the perfect menu including accommodating for special diet restrictions. Everyone enjoyed the meal! You also can't beat the price. I will totally use them again!

Our group of 4 was delighted with the service and quality of foods. Authentic Italian cuisine. We had Shrimp Scampi, spaghetti & meatballs, lasagna. Lemon cake and tiramisu. Everything was delicious. I hear their slow night is Wednesday and so you may be able to just stop in. Usually reservations is a good idea.

Great food and amazingly sweet new owners! Real Italian food - don't go expecting no Olive Garden mess!

One of my favorite little Italian restaurants. Anthony and Amy take care of you from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. Always excellent service and excellent food!! Amazing wine selection and actual authentic Italian cuisine. This is not your typical spaghetti and meatballs Italian restaurant.

Pinocchio's is Spencer's longest running Italian restaurant, and tonight my brother surprised me with a margarita pizza for dinner. He picked it up curbside. For just twelve dollars for an artisan pizza, that's a pretty great deal!Overall the pizza was pretty great, and a nice option to have during Covid-19. I am a big fan of the Chicken Franchese and ravioli at Pinocchios. The ravioli are made by hand and come in seasonal flavors that are delectable. The homemade gelato is also not to be missed.

We were impressed the moment we walked in the door. The food was incredible, the service was impressive, and it was perfect for my date and I as we celebrated Christmas together! We will definitely be back!

First time here the other night! Food was wonderful & so willing to work with my different food allergies. Great little place. Will be going back!
