I ate at Pinky's Westside Grill in the Charlotte Ashley Park area with a local friend. We're both gluten-free, and she swore by this place. I'm so glad she convinced me to go! I can see why this restaurant is featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives because it satisfied all my foodie cravings. The atmosphere was fun and vibrant. We chose to sit outside, and despite being near the street, it still felt private. The service was quick and our server was attentive. I ordered the Pimp'n Fries with added bacon, a side salad, and a bunless "Mammoth" burger. My friend had a burger with a gluten-free bun and waffle fries. The Pimp'n Fries were cheesy and heavenly. As a new pimento cheese fan, I try to order it whenever possible, and this dish didn't disappoint. The bacon was crispy and a great addition, and the fries stayed crunchy under all that pimento cheese. I'll definitely order them again. The side salad was extremely fresh, with crunchy vegetables and a well-made ranch dressing. My bun-less burger was juicy, cooked perfectly to medium as I requested, and absolutely satisfying. I couldn't finish everything because the portion sizes were substantial. I regret nothing. To drink, I sipped on water and the "Patio Margarita" with salt. The margarita was well-balanced and not too sweet, making it a perfect pairing for my meal.

Was in town for the weekend and here are my thoughts :* The place has a cool vibe ..fun.* The service was fast and friendly ..a plus.* I had a grilled chicken sandwich..tasty..the wife a hamburger ..both enjoyed . The tater tot side was weird though ..we thought they were undercooked at first..they were bland and had a weird coating ...A little on the pricey side but what isn't it seems these days ..

Had an amazing time at Pinky's Westside Grill! Everyone in Charlotte was there... whenever I'm out of town I stop at a Triple D location and eat what Guy Fieri got on the show. The food came out with great speed and was delicious. I got the Corndog shrimp with waffle fries. The shrimp were gigantic and the corndog batter was light with a slight bit of sweetness. Being from Buffalo, I naturally selected the Buffalo sauce to dip my shrimp to give it that sweet and spicy contrast and it did not disappoint! Especially because the bufffalo sauce was made in house and not out of a jar! I was out with a group and we were having fun, but the waitress had fun with us and had amazing vibez! I loved that all the workers were in a Restaurant T-shirt but still were able to dress and express themselves. The place was busy. There is indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of tables. The parking lot is very small but they have additional parking in the back to accommodate the flow.I liked my meal and look forward to coming back to try their famous Burgers . Def a great spot to eat!

Let me tell you, Pinky's is not just a restaurant--it's an experience. From the second I walked in, I was hit with a vibe so chill and cool, it was like stepping into your favorite cousin's funky backyard cookout... but with way better food. Now, let's dive in. As a pimento cheese connoisseur (yes, that's a real thing), I kicked off with the Cold Pimp'n appetizer. And let me just say--this dish deserves a standing ovation. The pimento cheese was creamy, tangy, and downright addictive. The portion size? Generous enough to remind me I'm unapologetically country. (IYKYK.) My boyfriend rolled his eyes when he saw how excited I was to see sooooo many dishes that included this southern delicacy. He doesn't like pimento so I didn't have to share. Then came my main course: the Prime Rib sandwich. Originally, I had my sights set on the French Dip burger (because who doesn't love au jus?), but I decided to level up with steak. And oh, honey, this sammich came to play! The marinated steak was juicy and perfectly seasoned, with provolone cheese that melted into a gooey blanket of happiness. The oven-roasted tomatoes were delicious enough to eat solo, though I will admit, the arugula and I had a moment of disagreement. (Sorry, not sorry, but I'm not about that earthy life.) With a gluten-free bun and that extra au jus for dipping, it was a customized masterpiece. Next time I've got to remember to add mushrooms Meanwhile, my dining partner decided to build his own hotdog. Now, let me tell you--this man is picky. But judging by his silent devotion to his plate (and the fact that his food barely survived my sneaky bites when he stepped away), it was a hit. They also use "good ice" you know the round slushie type...I get so excited when I get that type of ice in my drink...but I digressThe service at Pinky's? Chef's kiss. Our server was on it, but what really stood out was the teamwork. Three other staff members checked in on us throughout the meal, refilling drinks like they had some kind of Hogwarts magic going on. My glass never hit empty. Ever. The atmosphere was divey in the best possible way--eclectic decor, a lively buzz, and upbeat music that had me tapping my foot between bites. It was busy but never overwhelming, thanks to how efficiently the crew was cranking out orders.Pinky's is that spot. The kind of place you leave already planning your next visit because there are just too many menu items begging to be tried. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free? They've got you covered. So, if you're craving killer comfort food with a laid-back vibe and service that makes you feel like royalty, get to Pinky's. And bring your stretchy pants--you'll thank me later.

Our recent visit was a family of 4 and everyone enjoyed it! I love that this place has a good mix of American cuisine with a nice spin on everything. While I certainly don't want to downplay how amazing the Pinky Burger is, the sweet potato fries with the wasabi ranch was definitely my favorite. The kiddos enjoyed their nuggets and fries, and hubby was in love with the white trash burger. We had great service from both the server and manager checking on everyone. I always recommend people visit here while in Charlotte to get some great food. Fantastic overall!

Next up: Pinky's Westside Grill in Charlotte, a local favorite often featured on burger must-try lists and even on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives.I went for the Mammoth with Cheese--two 5 oz patties stacked high and loaded with toppings. Following their recommendation, I ordered it medium well. The burger makes a strong first impression with its towering size, anchored by a white plastic knife and wrapped in a brioche bun. However, looks aside, the patties leaned toward the dry and chewy side, with decent flavor but lacking the juiciness I'd hoped for. A medium-rare cook point might have delivered a better texture. A couple of ketchup squeezes helped, but it couldn't fully salvage the dryness. At $13, the burger is fair, but not particularly memorable. My verdict: a 30-minute rating.

Amazing burgers and the fried pickles are next level! The service was fast and our waitress took the time to help our table of 4 with our choices. The restaurant is nice and clean and they even sport a Combat Sortie flag over the host station! Plus the military/LEO/FR discount? Yeah, vet approved! This place is dope!!

Wow! Pinky's is a staple in the Wesley heights area We got there and it was so busy, but the wait time was only about 15 minutes. They were quick and efficient! It was a Monday and the place was packed!! (That's how you know it's going to be good)We got sandwiches and sides, everyone at the table said their enteee was some of the best food they've had. The sides were very subpar and could've been cooked a little longer. There was plenty of seating and our waitress was awesome!! Parking - there is a lot just down the street a few blocks!!Overall, would recommend to anyone visiting or in the area!!!

Annual multi-city food road trip with pre-planned stops in each city. Came for the GGG burger from diners drive ins and dives. I must say...of the 3 items I had, it was the least appealing. The burgers were way over cooked and dry. The flavor profile was overall solid. What really was the star was the shrimp corn dogs...perfectly fried and flavorful corn bread vibe. I used the pimento cheese on my fries as a dip for them. Service was solid. Atmosphere was one of those garage door repair shop high ceiling spaces with some character
