Pinehurst Brewing Company

Went there Friday night during rush-hour definitely a popular spot. Chose this local over other local breweries based on input from my son and he was right. Great atmosphere with the old brick building, and smoke stack, nice patio outside when the weather is warm, live music on at least Friday and Saturday nights in addition to good local beer and great food. We managed to get four seats at the bar with help from some regulars and the service was fast and courteous. Had to order the pulled pork on my first visit and it was good. Kathy had the brisket and it was even better. They offer a variety of sauces as usual for the barbecue and have a decent offering of salads and other entrées. Didn't try it on this visit but my son says the pizza is better than most pub pizza. He would mark it down as a 6.6 on the Portnoy scale. As for prices the beers are seven or eight dollars for a draft, specialty cocktails a little pricey at 16 bucks but based on reviews from Kathy they were good. As for the local beer 1895 Ale was good as was the West Coast IPA, the East Coast IPA with passionfruit was too fruity.Definitely worth a stop after a round of golf or a day of shopping in Pinehurst .

Pinehurst Brewing Company at 300 Magnolia Road was an awesome lunch experience. My wife and I decided to dine here last Friday, and the experience was nothing short of stellar.Pinehurst Brewing has crafted a lineup of brews that are a true celebration of flavor. I found myself returning to the comforting embrace of their robust Porter, while my wife was delighted by the tart freshness of a raspberry sour. To accompany our drinks, we opted for the 2 meat plate--a hearty yet balanced meal that was perfectly portioned for two. The combination of succulent pulled pork shoulder and flavorful smoked beef sausage was divine, especially when paired with the sweet potato fries and exceptionally seasoned green beans. And let's not forget the buttermilk cornbread, which was the cherry on top!Service at Pinehurst Brewing Company is where the experience truly shines. Jenna, our server, was attentive without being intrusive, offering spot-on suggestions with a warm smile. Pinehurst Brewing Company was busy with Sunday Night Football, so we chose to be seated in the bar area. The Brewing Company was a steam plant building which features a 10-bbl microbrewery with an observation platform overlooking the brewhouse. They also have a beer garden and an all-seasons patio.The menu is all comfort food, or as I call bar food. Their beer selection is good, what I believe the IPA I chose had a high percent alcohol by volume. The bartender was friendly and accommodating.

Food and service was great! The pizza was cooked perfectly and the onion rings were some of the best we've ever had!

Stopped by Pinehurst Brewing Company for dinner and luckily the 2 of us were able to snag seats at the bar, otherwise the wait was about 20-25 minutes at 7:30PM on a Monday. Not sure if they take reservations, but it would be a good idea if you have a larger group. Beer and barbecue is great combination so we were excited. I ordered a plate -- 7 oz total of meat, 2 sides and cornbread. I opted to split the meat and try both brisket and pulled pork. Hush puppies and coleslaw for sides, in addition to Shelly's cornbread. The pulled pork was pretty good but I was disappointed in the brisket. It had too much fat marbled throughout that it was chewy. The hush puppies were probably the best thing on the plate. I'm not sure who Shelly is, but she needs to revamp the cornbread recipe as it was so dry I could barely finish one bite. For drinks, I tried both the 1895 Lager and Pivoted IPA. I would get the Pivoted again, but the 1895 wasn't any better than your typical domestic draft lager. The atmosphere deserves 4 stars, the beer was a solid 3 stars, but the food was a disappointing 2 stars. Averaged out, I'll go with 3 stars for Pinehurst Brewing Company.

Popular restaurant and brewpub in Pinehurst frequented by visiting golfers. We went twice during our trip and had a great time. It's on the meal plan if you have a package through the Pinehurst resort which led us to over order in our hunger after a long day of golf, and generally stuff ourselves. Service was generally good. It can get loud when it's full. Those golf stories seem to be told at a high volume.

Great wings, great beer, great atmosphere. Weekend trip to Pinehurst and this was one of the hits.

This was our first time at Pinehurst Brewing. Was met with a rustic style atmosphere. Immediately seated. Our waitress, Donna, was WONDERFUL! Absolutely made the experience. The Pit Boss Pizza was delicious! And beers were flavorful!

Pinehurst Brewing Co is a must-stop place when we visit the in-laws in NC. The beers are solid, but the food is GREAT. We have not had anything that we did not like. You can get brunch and they offer flights - always 2 great things in my book. We always hope to get Lauren as our server because she is absolutely amazing! When my father in law was sick, he would always want to go here for pizza - and she remembered us. Very sweet.See y'all again soon, PBC!

Service was 5 star - like it was my neighborhood bar where I may be a little too familiar- I ordered the Southern Salad with smoked chicken- It was the best damn salad I've ever had. I'm 59. My new favorite Pinehurst hangout.
