Pin Station

Their ancient bowling ball return system kept getting stuck for our 2 lanes. After asking for help, they had the gall to blame it on us, saying we had bowled too many balls at that lane, although it was getting stuck with only 2 bowling balls. After waiting 30+ minutes for them to fix the lane, they still wanted to charge us full price for the game. Hope they spend a little bit of money to fix up their lanes

What a dump. Closes at 9:00pm?!?! No debit or credit cards?!?! Understaffed and dirty. Glad I was only visiting and don't have to bowl here regularly.

I haven't been bowling in a while, and had forgotten how much fun it can be. So when my daughter suggested midnight bowling at Pin Station for my Bday, I said I was all in.Located in Newton, less than 30 minutes from my house, Pin Station is not one of the newer or fancier bowling alleys, but its kept clean, the price are reasonable and security doesn't let anyone get out of line.From 11pm-1am the light go down, the neon and disco light spin and music roars from the loud speakers and every one has a good time. They have a concessions stand with decent food and beer prices as well. My daughter and I shared a couple of pitchers of beer and some mozzarella sticks. Good for all age groups, my daughter and were bowling next to a family of 5.Neither of us are great bowlers, but we had a good time and some great father daughter time.Thanks, Laura for a great night.

This is a large and nicely maintained bowling alley, that also has several billiard tables and an arcade (and also a carrousel!). This was my first time visiting, and I only played billiards. The tables were in decent shape, but they were not brushed. There was a lot of felt "lint" built up under the rail edges. The chalk provided was almost spent, and their bridge was "broken." I wanted to ask in what year it got broken, and why they hadn't replaced it! Also, one of the lightbulbs in the overhead was missing, but since the other tables weren't being used, I moved a bulb from another fixture into this one. Again, in what year did the bulb get removed, and not replaced? LOLThis place is O-K. It beats driving hours to a real billiards hall, but if any better options present, I would not return.

I have been to Pin Station for years, although not on a regular basis. My children had birthday parties there and went to other friends' parties. I went today with my family and was so disappointed that they won't allow the gutter guards up except for children 8 and under. I am 68 years old and needed to use the gutter guards as my first game I bowled a whopping 13. My son asked about my being able to use them since I am a senior citizen. They did allow them for about 2 frames, but then they stopped. When he asked about it, he was told someone told the person to stop allowing the guards. TERRIBLE!!! I will not spend my money to go back unless they allow gutter guards for children and senior citizens. The food we got was tasty, but having to use the ATM to get cash instead of taking a card is ridiculous!! I hope management will look into these issues and make a change, especially the gutter guards. It would have been an enjoyable afternoon if I could have actually knocked some pins down, but throwing a gutter ball every time is definitely not a fun time.

Great place but- no oil no lanes until evening and kids on both sides of us. I understand that the oil might be a danger for the kids who don't know to stay behind the floul line. If they would just reserve one section for those of us who bowl it would be greatly appreciated. The place is beautiful, the food is good and the people are friendly.

Someone tell the owner to give it up he's holding up the lines and making it take long as hell getting stuff confused man's rich and owns half of conover/Newton he's not helping he's hurting business bc he is not friendly at all ether

Awesome place, the twins that run it are very friendly. My kids love this place, fun and affordable. If your in the area please check it out.
