Piedmont Skydiving

If you are looking for a place to skydive look no more. They are very accommodating and friendly. You can sign up online and give your friends the group number to sign up and join you. They have your most common altitude jump but they also offer a high altitude jump that is double the free fall time (about a minute plus). They offer video packages and so on which is great to capture the moment but I suggest only do that once due to cost and it's a distraction when jumping. So much fun that I did a second jump same day the first time. They offer the necessary class and training if you wish to get certified and be able to jump solo. They have a nice area setup where friends and family can watch you. It is cold up there so bring a jacket and long pants for the jump. A lot of fun and good vibes.

I would recommend Piedmont Skydiving for anyone looking to go skydiving in the Charlotte North Carolina area! everyone was so professional, friendly, inviting, and did their best to ease each participants nerves. I had been once before and the difference between that place and Piedmont Skydiving was night and day. I went with my fiancé and two friends who had never been before. My fiancé was excited the whole time, but my friends were very nervous but the instructors and support staff helped ease the nerves and make it an enjoyable time. On the way up, the instructors answered all the questions we had and made sure we knew exactly what to do. 10 out of 10!

I went here yesterday and had an ABSOLUTE blast. The entire crew at Piedmont skydiving is amazingly efficient and made me feel incredibly safe to jump out of a plane.....so much that I went TWICE in one day. It's about $250 to jump a tandem jump from 13,000 feet but if you book a second jump the same day it is $129 which is basically half off. This was honestly one of the highlights of my life and I wouldn't have changed it for the world. Every single person there was so genuine and kind that I couldn't have felt more safe. They tell you exactly what to do and when to do it. Everyone should skydive.

THANK YOU Piedmont Skydiving for an amazing experience!!!!I was referred to Piedmont by a friend and I'm so glad she pointed me in their direction.My tandem instructor, Allen, was super nice and personable while still taking time to explain everything being done. He gave clear and thorough instructions for when we were in the air and overall made me feel very safe.Highly recommend adding on the photo/video package! The images and videos they delivered (within a few hours, I might add) were awesome and they even edited them a bit for a better watching experience.Cannot say enough good things about Piedmont Skydiving!!!

This was my first time skydiving and all the staff made me feel so comfortable. From Nikki answering my many questions on the phone as well as at the window, to Matt explaining everything and ensuring that I was comfortable, to the rest of the team working together to make sure it was an awesome experience. They were very accommodating and eager to help!All are so knowledgeable and friendly. It was the most EXHILERATING thing I've ever done!! In fact, I purchased my next jump before I left! Thinking about it??? I say DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!!!

Absolutely love these guys!! I'm a B license fun jumper who travels for work. Found them early in 2021, and have been back a couple of times because they were so great. Everyone there is extremely friendly and welcoming, from Andrew the owner, to the instructors and pilots, as well as Melinda who runs the rest of the show!The PAC 750 gets you up to altitude super quick; the scenery and landing area are great, and it doesn't matter your modality- belly, freeflying, wing suit... Everybody is welcome and guaranteed to have a great time!

All I have to say is, Do it!These guys and gals are a fun group. They are very playful but very professional at the same time. Never did I feel unsafe or in danger. If jumping out of a perfectly operational aircraft is on your bucket list this is where you need to go.Yes we are jumping again!

If you haven't jumped....what are you waiting for??!!These guys are the real deal! We had such a blast jumping here for Fathers Day 2018. All the instructors are top-notch and put your mind at ease. Would've loved a bigger plane so we all could've went up together but the small plane experience was pretty unique in its own right. Had Matt as my tandem and his knowledge and excitement of the sport of skydiving really came through! Will definitely be back!

Overpriced, especially the video/photo package, they're charging you over a hundred dollars to hold a gopro on your own wrist. My instructor pointed it so half the time it was looking at him instead of me. It was uncomfortable, the spinning made me dizzy. Basically you're paying 2 or 3 hundred dollars for the same view you would get out of an airplane window, except you get the chance to die for the view. If you're stupid and you feel lucky, it's for you, good luck.

I would recommend not showing up a moment sooner than your scheduled time. We went on a Saturday and our appointment was at 10 am. We did not go up in the plane till closer to 12. The staff explained that Saturday's are typically like this. It was extremely hot with no fans. Everything was outdoors. I've been to other places and the traning/getting ready was indoors. HOWEVER, the STAFF and the ones jumping were wonderful and super sweet. I definitely felt safe and secure doing the dive.
