Great place to dine in Hickory!!The restaurant is small but can still seat groups or small. The decor gives off a lodge vibe with hunting accoutrements on the walls and warm hardwood accents.Ordering is super easy. You order at the counter and then get a number and choose your table. I ordered the house specialty pho as well as some summer rolls and a nice hot green tea.Everything was superb! I loved the complex flavors of the rolls and the tea was so comforting on a winter day. The pho was amazingly good and a great price for everything.All of the employees are kind and welcoming. I really enjoyed my visit to pho lodge!

We stumbled upon Pho Lodge while shopping at the mall--completely by accident while visiting from out of State. Inside, we were greeted warmly by a staff member and was told it will be about a 15 mins wait. They offer counter service--you order first, then find a seat wherever you like. The ambiance was a mix of cozy and rugged, with wildlife trophies lining the walls, adding a touch of charm.We tried two pho bowls: the broth was light yet flavorful, perfectly balanced, with tender slices of beef and fresh herbs that brought it all together. The kids' pho was a smaller portion meatballs, but just as satisfying, a perfect introduction for little ones.The papaya salad was crisp and refreshing. It was also was the best restaurant papaya I've had. It was pungent, tangy, sweet, spicy and paired well with our meal.The egg rolls were golden and crispy, packed with savory filling that was comforting and familiar.For drinks, the mango bobas stole the show--sweet, tropical, and fun with their chewy pearls.Pho Lodge is definitely on the top of our list when visiting Hickory.

If you're looking for an authentic Northern-style pho experience, Pho Lodge is the place to go. The restaurant serves a clear, aromatic broth made from beef bones, unlike the darker, sweeter, richer broths of Southern pho. The broth is so refreshing that you can enjoy it without any condiments. If you are super hungry, I recommend the P5, which comes with tender beef ribs, flavorful meatballs, and tripe. There are other combinations and sizes to choose from, so you're sure to find a bowl that you love.The customer service at Pho Lodge is excellent, and the space is clean and inviting. The menu is straight forward and simple. I highly recommend stopping by to try this delicious and authentic pho. The broth is made fresh every morning, and the restaurant closes once the batch is gone. That's what I call quality!P.S. By the way, the egg rolls and sauce is a must try as well! So good! Also, if you like spice, ask for the ghost pepper. It'll kick your Pho up a notch!

Great place to have dinner and a good mix of fusion. The service was quick and wait staff we attentive.

I came here because my original place pho 777 is closed on Wednesday and this place was open and I was craving some pho. The Staff is nice and the tai tea was really good and sweet but as far as the pho I like the Southern style and this is not that. The young man did explain to me that there is a difference in taste so I was informed ahead of time. I would say the pho isn't bad...I just prefer a sweater more rich and flavorful broth that the Southern style brings.

Really good food! I'm from the west coast and we have a lot of pho restaurants in our area. This would be one of the best I've tried! This city doesn't have any good food , except this place!

Excellent staff and yummy pho. More of a lunch spot atmosphere wise. Budget friendly.

The food was delicious and very aromatic. Service was excellent from the moment, I walked into the restaurant. The staff treats their customers like everyone is a friend (new or old). This was my first dining experience with my new friends. I'll be visiting them again. The ambiance of the entire place welcomes everyone. Trust me, you'll have plenty to take home to enjoy. The broth itself feels healing and fulfilling, if you're just needing liquids.

I would say pho lodge is a great place to get some authentic vietnamese pho, although it isn't the best place like pho 777 it is still very consistent and you'll always be fulfilled by the light beefy broth! did i also mention that their sides and drinks were fabulous too, the turkey tail and ghost pepper is a must get, it creates the perfect smoky flavor! I would also say egg rolls are probably best in town with the best sauce, whatever the owner is doing, i see a great future with this place.
