Wonderful experience. Plenty of food for reasonable prices. Whomever is cooking knows how to FRY! If you're looking for light and healthy keep it moving. Want some well seasoned delicious southern down home cooking? This is it. Complete with friendly service and care making you feel like family and you're home. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the wastebasket in the bathroom was overflowing but other than that it was clean. I don't live anywhere near here or I'd be back sooner rather than later. Check them out!

First time going here, tried it on a Sunday morning. Was no wait but a nice crowd. Walked in and the lady manning the front register wasn't exactly the most welcoming. She assumed I was there for a pickup, asked what name was the order. I told her I'm there to eat inside. She gave me a menu and told me to seat myself. I did, took a good while for a server to come, I saw one couple leave because they didn't get anyone to their table for a while after they sat down. But I wasn't on a schedule so I waited it out. I had two different servers which I assumed were working all tables together. Both of them were delightful and friendly. I ordered a veggie omelette with hash browns. Both were good but I do wish the veggies were chopped down a bit smaller. I go to pay my ticket and same lady at the front register didn't even ask how was my food/experience etc. just took the ticket, swiped my card with zero interaction. But in any case I'd go back simply because I did enjoy the flavor of the food and the two waitresses were sweethearts.

Tried this place for lunch while in the area for school. It's a nice little hole in the wall mom and pop shop. It was a little dark and dirty, but not overly horrible.Service was pretty quick, but that was it. Once I was served, the check was laid on my table and the waitress was gone.The food wasn't bad, mashed potatoes were ok, the steamed broccoli was really good, the gravy was a little much, and the Salisbury steak was a little tough. I will definitely try something new next time im in the area.

Decent food for the price. If you like a good homemade meal, it's definitely worth trying.

I've eaten here before, but it's been quite a few years ago. My don't remember what I ate for lunch, I just remember it was good. Fast forward to today and we stopped in for breakfast. This place seems to have a following of regulars and, unbeknownst to me, apparently our daughter is one of them! The food is delicious, service is quick, restaurant is very clean - and they have an excellent health grade! Oh yes, I'll def be back! Side note: I dug into my breakfast so quickly, I didn't even think to get a photo.

Was in the area for a concert the night before and wanted a nice place to go to brunch. My girlfriend found the place and we thought we would give it a shot. When you walk in you can tell that the food will be good and that they have a regular crowd, a little older crowd but a good crowd. The food was amazing! I loved my biscuits and gravy and my chocolate chip pancakes. And everyone else loved their food as well. The server was great and made sure the food came as ordered. They are very nice about making sure you can substitute things if needed, I always ask because I don't eat pork and that is sometimes hard at a breakfast restaurant. I am taking one start away because even though they warn you with a little sign, it took forever for the food to come out! When it did finally come out it was hot and what I ordered, which is a good thing. I highly recommend this place but you need to have a little bit of time on your hands...

The food was well seasoned but they can work on their hashbrowns, my hashbrowns were cold when I got them and they could use some more time on the grill. I never got my toast. Everything else was pretty good. Our server was nice and always made sure we had our coffee full and that everything was okay. We did wait around 20-30 minutes for our food. We ordered a veggie omelette, a spinach and cheese omelette and a turkey sandwich. The atmosphere was okay, I think the cashier could've been a little nicer greeting the customers, just looked like she didn't want to be there. Overall we will not be coming back here, just wasn't worth the wait or money. However, they've really got some potential. If you're not that hungry and are willing to wait a while and love american breakfast, this is the place for you! Not for us but will definitely recommend!

First visitkitchen was very slow the service was okI order extra crispy Hash Browns and they were prepared well at best. I did notice the order slip /bill and them listed as crispy not extra so that was on the server as well as the kitchen At check out the lady's facial expressions was one who looked like it was a problem for her to be there she did not ask if everything was ok/good just took my money counted the change and said have a good day One on done for me P.s. I read other comments and if the lady at the register is the owner she needs to retire

The lady at the front cash register has horrible customer service and a nasty smoker's cough. The food is good if you can get past her mannerisms.

We've visited Phat Daddy's only for breakfast. We've been there several times. The food is basic breakfast food, the wait is always long but we usually don't mind. The waitresses are so kind and personable but the owner is absolutely miserable. We decided today that we're not going back. We both said thank you to her as we paid our bill and she said nothing in response. It's been this way every time we visited but today was just too much. We're not giving her any more of our business. Too many other places to have breakfast where people are friendly.
